What ....another cliffhanger ending! This book was good. I just have to read the next one in the series.

Great beginning. The characters are interesting. I can't wait to start the next on this series.

love this book

I'm not usually a fan of vampire stories, but this one has just enough of everything else that I was glad I bought it.

As some of the other reviews said, it is part of a longer story and I wished the author had made each one longer so I hear more. It stopped at a critical point and there were better ways to play this out that would have made the characters more 3 dimensional. However, if I find the others on sale I'll buy them.

Interesting

There’s nothing wrong with the story. It really didn’t get interesting until nearly the very end, and even then, I can still walk away. It ends in a total cliff hanger, which I didn’t think would be possible with how little actually happens in the story.

My main issue is with the narration. The narrator is inconsistent and usually obnoxiously nasally. He give accents to people who lose them within the same conversation. It would be one thing if it was from one scene to the next. But if you’re going to dictate a character with an accent, at least maintain it. Also, it’s sandwich, not sangwich. If your native accent pronounces it sangwich, that’s cool for you. But lose it when you are narrating. There’s no “g” in sandwich.

The narration is why I almost gave up on the book.

This is a different Vampire book and it leads up to something? I'm not sure what, but it kept me on edge to find out. Sadly, the other books in the series aren't available on audio yet. However, I'm glad I got to hear this one.

CAN'T WAIT FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SERIES ON AUDI

This was such a great book worth the credit. The reader did a fantastic job. His voice was so pleasant.

Great Book!!!

Would you try another book from Julie Wetzel and/or Marcio Catalano?

I have read several of this series, but I'll never buy another audio version of it read by Marcio Catalano. I"m very fussy about pronunciation- he pronounced sandwich as 'sangwich'= not once but all through it. By the time we got to 'beignets' and Cafe Du Monde( pronounce all the letters- not a French thought among them) and this was by the second chapter- I was done. His voice for the females is horrible and Darian Ritter is about as multi-faceted as a pane of glass. I would suggest reading this series but not listening to it.

Any additional comments?

Not worth a credit- or even $4.99 when it comes on sale.

Complete Dud.
