About this listen

The world has ended, and those worthy of it have received the chance for a new life in a new reality.

Zach grew in power and thrived in the post-Framework world. He became a respected leader, a shining example of what it meant to be good. But as the world ended, he had only one thought: to punish the monster that had killed the world long before the Framework ended it. Yet not even with his incredible power was he able to stand against the World Ender. His arrival in the new realty, the Infinite Realm, gives him the chance to grow stronger, to find the monster again - and make it pay.

Ryun survived the chaos after the arrival of the Framework by pushing harder than anyone else. He grew in power until he became the most powerful being that had ever walked the planet; but he is hated by the world, called a monster by all others, the World Ender. As the world ends and he steps into a new one, where people stronger than him have lived for centuries, he finds himself lost and without purpose. The only thing that had mattered to him had been lost to him long ago. He truly was the monster that people considered him to be, and he now finds himself wondering if this new reality has a place for someone like him - but he had never been one for lying down and dying without a fight. One world fell to his power, and another might follow.

A Cultivation Novel Like No Other

This one was quite different from all the other ones. Over 30 hours, hugely interesting and unique despite the concept being pretty common. The characters in this book are good and the changes in perspective synergize well creating a single coherent story.

I absolutely love it!

Wow, I haven't listened to this good of a book in ages! I absolutely love it! The cultivation aspects were amazing! I love the progression. I love the main character and the secondary characters. The author didn't take you away from the main character for too long, which allowed me to really enjoy getting to hear the secondary characters but get back to the real story! And the way the backstory was given to you one piece at a time so you could try to guess at the main characters backstory was just a joy to hear!

I really enjoyed the voice of the narrator and think he did a fantastic job!

I recommend this book to anyone!

It started slow but I am glad I hung in there!!!

I almost returned this book. It did not make since in the beginning and was slow as a 3 legged turtle. I left and went to another book but ran out of credits so I picked it back up. The character development kicked in and the back stories picked up. The action is strong and a growing main character who is the greatest of his people but does not want to lead.

Absolutely Loved it!

Fantastic story! I cannot stress enough how entertaining and refreshing it was to read something that doesn’t disappoint. It’s got a good story and it’s long enough to make you feel like you’re actually able to relax and enjoy the story. Everything is so well developed and the characters are relatable. I cannot wait for the sequel and hope that audible lets me buy it soon!

Great one

At first I heard the narrator and was like "awe man" but he did a wonderful job. it's just a great story too. I hope the author does more. The secrets in the story they have you trying to figure out and begging for the answers, and the twists were just... damn. definitely recommend for litrpg fans.

5 unsetting stars

This is an excellent book about power. It tells a story about characters with differing and evolving amounts of power and how the ebb and flow affects lives. This is an epic book in my opinion. It Is over 30 hours long and I want 30 more.

I enjoyed this book.

Warning: this book has multiple PoV's and as the series progresses the number of new and side characters will grow. Additionally there are several side stories and jumps between the past and the present. There is also unconventional relationships, rape, and torture.

I don't like books with multiple Povs and skipped every chapter that did not have Ryun or a character that was interacting with Ryun at that point in the story. Even doing so I didn't feel like I was lost or missing anything by doing so. However If I knew about the multiple Povs before starting this series I would not have purchased this book. That said at this point I am invested in this series and will continue with book 4.

A Magnificent Series

I would put this series on par with He Who Fights with Monsters & Defiance of the Fall.

The story of how they enter the Infinite Realm is something truly grand & very well written as it ties & plays a role through the entire series to date.

The characters are astounding
The power system is very flushed out varied and interesting.

Seriously, the best thing I can say is I enjoy this series as much as the other two listed & that is the highest praise I can give it.
