About this listen

Something about her drew him in from the start.

Yasmin Hernandez - 4.0 student, hard worker, volunteer. Starting Blairwood University is her chance at a new beginning. It doesn't matter that it's all a lie, does it?

Nixon Cole has it all - money, good looks, charm, and a national championship win to wrap it all up. But there is more hiding behind his charming smile than he lets on.

Until he found out the secret she's been hiding.

Nixon has had a thing for Yasmin from the moment they met, but she isn't about to let another player near her heart. When a chance encounter reveals his secret, Yasmin will realize they have more in common than either of them thought.

Kiss by kiss they'll forget reality. Will it be enough to save them, or will it be the cause of a broken heart?

Contains mature themes.

I will say despite some of it's flaws, there are several things that were repetitive, it was actually really good. It was probably better than the last book and it helps that Yas and Nix were just two likable characters going through some shit. I would read an entire series about them specifically.

Weirdly Heartwarming

I loved this story! Nixon and Yasmine have such a great story.
I listened to this audio, and it was done so well that I could put it down.

This is a coach's daughter, with both Nixon and Yasmine holding their own secrets close to the vest. As their secrets come to light, they get closer.

This story almost had me in tears a few times, and my heart broke for the characters.

Loved this one

Yasmin and Nixon each dealing with complications that life throws at them, find each other and and grow painfully through their hardships. Not always in a good way, but growth and forgiveness moves them forward. Good book and good narrations.

No one can be everything to everyone. Sometimes you need someone to help. Forgiveness is very hard. I didn’t like how much of a hypocrite the character is. How can the character give advice but don’t go by his own advice

My thoughts 💖

Anna B Doe is becoming one of my favorites author.

I listened to this story which was narrated by Troy Duran & Raquel Beattie. Like "Kiss to Conquer" this duo narration was perfect for this story. I love Troy Duran's deep voice and the Spanish accent of Raquel Beattie was perfect for Yasmin in this story.

Yasmin and Nixon aren't meant to be together mostly because Yasmin is trying to avoid Football Player. But that's hard now that their mutual bestfriends are together. Nixon is always trying to push Yasmin's button since he discover one of her secrets.

I loved both Yasmin and Nixon's personality. They don't want to be invovle but at some point they are going to be and when they're together, they're tender and sweet.

I really enjoyed, as usual with this author, all the vibes around Nixon's roommates, and how Callie got involves with Nixon. In the last book they got close, so she doesn't hold back to tell him what she's thinking.

What I also appreciated was the bond that Nixon got with his family, and Yasmin with her mother.

It was funny, emotionals. I was really into it, so I can say like the other books of this series that I recommend this one too.
