About this listen

Eddie Hunter has discovered that he loves building. Creating things with his own hands satisfies him. Fortunately, his job in the game Light Online allows for that. It also requires that he do all the other things the rest of the players in the game do, so he can't just build.

Balancing his time between adventuring and building would be easy if it didn't seem like there were always 27 more things he felt he should be doing at the same time.

To make matters worse, there's good evidence supporting a fellow player's theory that Eddie's efforts to increase the settlement level of the Meadowlands cause the game to add new content in the area. So now Eddie has even more things to add to what he's already doing.

Excellent progression along a very interesting plot. The characters are growing and expanding in very interesting ways. And I thoroughly enjoy the narration! Excellent!

Very Good

this is a great series. it is lighter in tone than many but that doesn't negatively affect it at all. there is fighting and dungeons and quests, humor, gentle romance. a different take on the genre and delightful overall. my only complaint is there are only five books to date. I really want to see more adventures of Eddie and friends.

great series

My only complaint is the stats take forever to go through I know there in a game but the world building is so great that the individual stats lose my interest

Loved the first 2 books and this third one is great

like the series, but I'm concerned where its going. I felt we had way to much time with the military guys. you got an MC stay with him.

good, but...

I can tell that your going to do what a lot of other authors do. That is to write a pretty good laidback story and change it into a serious lives are on the line kind of thing. Please don't go so far with it

only one thing

I'm still enjoying this LitRPG with a crafting bent and easier pace, and a main character who is not an overbearing egotist. Just fun, distracting and interesting.

Welcome change of pace in the genre

Another good addition to the story. The characters in this slice of life are growing their town and the growing background threat is coming to a head.

In this installment, Larcombe continues to spin a good tale and the main character matured and made progress in his settlement.

It was a struggle to finish this. The MC is average. The story plods along like a snail. I kept falling asleep during the previous book so no idea why I bothered with this one. Maybe it's the potential. It could have been so much better! I can think of more exciting ways it could of spun.... but it didn't. Eddie makes Houses. Eddie makes more houses. Sighs. No more for me.

Slow. Boring.
