Publisher's summary

Collins French with Paul Noble combines an exciting, new non-traditional approach to language learning with the easy, relaxed appeal of an audio-only product. No books. No rote memorisation. No chance of failure.

Paul Noble is a genius with a higher IQ than Einstein. Despite this, he still struggled with language learning at school. He found himself feeling ‘confused, incapable and unable to really say anything’. As a result of his negative early experiences, Paul has come up with a groundbreaking new method of language teaching that removes the need for months of study. With Paul Noble, everyone really can speak a language. Part 2 of the course covers:

  • Useful vocabulary at the tourist office
  • Asking for directions
  • Where you are from and what you do
  • Pronunciation

A native-speaking French expert helps Paul to deliver the course and to perfect your pronunciation. No complicated grammatical explanations, no rote memorisation, no writing - no stress. Learn over 6,000 words in no time at all and - most importantly - learn how to make your new vocabulary work for you. (Use the accompanying booklet as a reference and revision tool.)

Refreshing , Easy to Learn Approach

I had two years of high school French and loved it. 50 years later Paul Noble’s conversational approach makes it easy to remember. I’ll try his Spanish Audible books too. There is story in the sense that the method is cumulative. Each chapter and book builds on the previous one.

It was good while it lasted

I have been studying French for sometime now so was able to relate to the lessons quickly. not sure if I would have felt the same had I directly dived into these lessons. But overall it was good listening to these lessons.

FANTASTIC! It Works!

If you want something different from the norm, that you can count on working, this is pretty reliable. The only reason I gave it 4 stars on performance is that I feel Paul should have the narrator say longer sentences slowly and also at a normal pace. The narrator is fantastic and Paul is fantastic -- but sometimes when a sentence is long and you have to say "why" with a negative and an irregular verb and omg your mind is trying to put it all together.... lol.... it would be helpful if everytime, the narrator said the sentence slowly (pronouncing every word) and at normal pace. That way we can see we got it right, or see what words we forgot. Otherwise, it's friggin fantastic!!!!! Even with the fast translation I still got it after listening to it a couple of times.

Great approach!

Paul noble does a fantastic job of teaching languages. I love the approach he takes. We learn by being constantly exposed to things instead of deliberately trying to memorize. I grew up in a Spanish speaking household and learned English at a very young age. I don't remember learning English at all. I just remember being in front of other English speaking kids and I started speaking it. I can relate to this approach because it's how I learned English very young. I know a child's developing brain is different of that of an adult. But the approach for learning a language is, in my opinion, the perfect way to learn a language. I recommend Paul noble to any friend trying to learn a language.

Flagship Language Course

Paul Noble's language courses are head and shoulders above the competition, especially if your goal is to learn in your car. I have tried several other courses and none measures up to Mr. Noble's. If he would publish a level 4 he would have an instant customer.

Paul Noble Rocks Part 2!

I found Part 1 to be remedial but a wonderful refresher. Part 2 started off being a refresher and Paul Noble very quickly, easily and very seamlessly took me through it. it felt as if the building momentum with the easier stuff gave me the inertia to get through the harder parts; which he made very easy! His reviews of earlier sections were quick, timely and poignant! I can't wait for Part 3.

PS. Use the PDF's during your 1st pass ( perhaps the 2nd too). you shouldn't need it for the 3rd pass if you have the patience. if you hadn't guessed, I thoroughly enjoyed it! I hope you too!
