One woman's dream of flying leads her on an epic quest to save dragonkind from extinction.

Braving the breathtaking vistas of the Great Kingdom, Reecah Draakvriend sets out to confront the high king and put an end to his evil campaign of eradicating the beauty from the land.

Gathering an eclectic band of companions along the way, Reecah discovers that life is anything but what she had envisioned. As the stakes grow ever higher, Reecah must decide whether to embrace a heritage she never knew or allow the greatest calamity the world has ever known to unfold before her eyes.

This box set includes:

  • Book two: Reecah's Gift
  • Book three: Reecah's Legacy

Normally I would nave just passed over this book, but I chanced upon the author at a festival and got to talking. He seemed to have a good head on his shoulders and so I figured why not give the serries, and author a try. I am glad I did!

Quickly I found myself invested in the story and wanted to know what would happen. The world building was done well, and the story was fairly well paced.

I would give it a 9/10 if possible because I don't think it is one of the epics that will shape pop culture for generations to come, but it is a solid story with interesting characters and well worth the listen.

Glad I gave it a chance.
