Story
Some cases hit close to the bone. For amateur sleuth Sabrina Carlson, this is one of them. In Sabrina's mind, missing-persons investigations are always the hardest. Mostly because they remind her of losing her sister years before. If fighting off flashbacks of her sister's death isn't bad enough, this current case is one of the most difficult of Sabrina's career. After all, Claire Blakely didn't just disappear without a trace. She also didn't have any enemies. In addition, as far as Sabrina can tell, there are no leads to work with.

It was inescapably chilling, as if the murderer was methodically working his way down a page torn from the phone book. The three victims brutally killed in their own homes had one thing in common: They were all listed as M. Douglas. The fact that Mara Douglas is next on the list has her jumping at shadows, until FBI agent Aidan Shields shows up to make sure she doesn't become the fourth victim.

Continued enjoyment
This series is just a lot of fun, and as I continue to listen, I get caught further in the clutches of Sabrina and David's cases. This one features the murder of the town hypnotherapist, Gregory Morton. For me, this character holds some interest, only treating men and we don't know why. His murder is unexpected and these two will not let the case go cold. Through interrogations of friends we have met and new characters, there is much information to gather. But is it enough to find the killer? Add in the secret meetings that have been taking place, Betsy and Elizabeth in the coffee shop and a side of the delicious lemon bars Sabrina is eating and you have several hours of entertainment. I am still waiting to see if we find out about Jessica, Sabrina's missing sister, so am going to dive into book 5! Lisa Beacom is the voice of this series for me, and I am enjoying her narration. With lots spunk, she keeps the level of fun high with her performance!

Good story with good narration.
Another Sabrina mystery. Suspects abound as a very disliked gentleman is found dead. We met past suspects to help narrow down the case. There were close acquaintances who became suspects. Sabrina and David worked together to investigate, and I enjoyed their journey.
The narration by Lisa Beacom was well done. Her distinct voices for all the characters kept them separated in my mind.
I received a copy of the audiobook as a gift, and this is my unsolicited review.

I keep enjoing this series
I keep enjoying this series. This time the victim is that shady hypnotherapist whom we know from previous books, and the investigation will lead us to uncover what's really going on with that secret society... finally! *laughs*
As always, Sabrina and David are a delight, and, as with the other books by this author, this is a clean, lovely cosy that would appeal to the fans of the genre.
Extra kudos for Lisa Beacom's reading.

The perfect duo!
I love this series! The best part of it is the dynamic between the two main characters, Sabrina & David. David is a cop who is no nonsense & by the book & Sabrina is an amateur sleuth with street smarts & out of the box ideas. Together they make a great team with their “opposites attract” dynamic. There is mystery & humor all blended into one & it’s also really well narrated with easily identifiable characters! This is a good wholesome cozy through & through!

Lemon bars, anyone?
Potts did it again... A Dr is found dead, but what happened before he died has Sabrina on the case. Wonderful book, I am again honored to be an ARC for this amazing author. Her writing style keeps getting better and better, she really is one of the most generous authors, talks to her fans like me, and is my cozy go-to, I know I will not be let down with a cookie-cutter book

Okay
I found this series to be very repetitive. It seems to be written more for a young adult that adult cozy. It is a very clean book no fowl language no sex both which I am happy with. But I find the characters to have no real substance. They don't come across as being real. That all said the book was an Okay read just don't expect a deep mystery. Lisa Beacon does a good job of narrating this book. It is hard to see how good she might be because the story is so simply written. I was gifted this book with the understanding that I would leave an honest review.

This is an audible book I requested and the review is voluntary.
I love this series. They are fun with great clues and suspects. Our gal of the story is always determined to find the killer and her boyfriend is a detective so this time he just gives in and lets her help. I thought this was the best one so far.
The narrator was great at the voices and mood inflections. She kept the story rolling at just the right pace. Great job.
