Interesting premise but I wasn’t wowed. As the story progressed my disinterest for Eliza slowly turned to annoyance. It’s hard to care about a story when you don’t care about the MC’s. I can’t wait to see what happens with Graham in the next book.

Meh.

Who could ask for more? This is the 2nd book in the Baymoor Carlton siblings trilogy that focuses on the oldest child, Eliza. For those of you who've read the Men of Whiskey Row series, you are treated to appearances from the Sullivan Brothers and their BFF wives. The author does an excellent job as always pulling us through time lines and character arcs. Also, as always we are treated to plenty of steaming ♨️ sex scenes courtesy of Eliza and Wade Holloway, the smoking 🥵 town sheriff. Although I think the narration could have benefited from a male voice, Mari does an excellent job handling it solo. I personally think this story is better than book 1 (focused on Georgina) just because there's more and deeper rabbit holes to go down plot wise. DA Young is the Shonda Rimes of books!

Enjoyed the story and I'm glad that the Whiskey Row friends and family were in this book too. Mari is a great narrator but I would have liked to hear 1a male voice as well. I'm looking forward to the next book. I just can't find book 1 of this series.

A Good Read

I hate spending money on a book that sucks. And seldomly read the work if new authors. I am an instant fan of D A Young with The Farmer and the Belle. After reading this book, I had no doubt that I'd continue reading D A Young's Books. OMG the cliff hanger set a perfect stage for Graham's story and I can't wait. Thank you D A💖

From the first book I read I fell in love...I am completely addicted to these books and can’t wait to read Grahms story next!!!! I was captivated during and pulled in from start to finish. And let’s just say I’ve had to take a few cold showers after reading😏😉😏...definitely worth the read, won’t be disappointed.

By far, the men of whiskey row is my all time favorite series but Baymoore is my second. A phenomenal narrator, this female narrator was better than the female narrator in the men of whiskey row. D. A. Young is a phenomenal writer.

Another awesome series

This was a good story. I'm commenting now but I've read and listen since its original publishing. I wish we get the chance to revisit these characters. The story has courage and touches all types of situations. Also the Romance is off the chain.
