Publisher's summary

Clean and wholesome historical western inspirational romance.

Anna Hatzidakis has come a long way and suddenly finds herself alone in a land where she has nobody but her young son Taki to care for her. Tragically widowed within weeks of her arrival in America from her homeland in Greece, she is struggling to make ends meet and make a life for her and her boy. But, by chance, she finds a solution, and prays that a new husband will be the answer to her prayers. But will she let go of her guilt and give herself permission to love again having lost her beloved Costa?

Will Ryan is a busy man. He has a farm that he has finally managed to get in good heart and is one of the town deputies. He is gentle and the kind of man who can always be relied upon to help anyone in trouble. When Anna responds to his advertisement for a bride, he knows he must help her - even if it costs him the chance to love again. He prays that if he can make this sweet woman's life better that he will finally achieve redemption from his own past. But can he really ever forget and forgive himself for what happened to Alice?

Short, sweet, light listen

I like this author and her mail order brides. Each story is sweet and has good characters. I like some more than others but they are all good. I will probably listen to the rest of the books in this series. The narrator was good as well.

Sweet Historical Romance

I loved the narrator for this one! His deep voice was very pleasant to listen to! There were only a few women voices he had to do, but they were all very natural sounding!
A bit of ethnic flair in this story. Karla tells a story of immigrants who come from Greece, but Anna’s husband dies almost as soon as they arrive in America. I enjoyed the story very much!

What a cute story!

I love the way in this story, unlike most mail order bride stories they didn’t have any of that where the bride to be because of one thing the groom says automatically thinks he no longer wants to get married and wants her to leave ATC they told each other what was on them mine got it all out in the open it was a very cute and loving story I dare to say it was the perfect mail order bride story.

Anna's Destiny

Mail Order Bride: Anna's Destiny
Faith Creek Brides, Book 4
By: Karla Gracey

A short, sweet, clean, mail order bride, historical fiction. Anna came to America for a better life. Shortly on arrival her husband dies. She is left to raise their young son. She tries living in a place supposedly friendly to Greek immigrants, that is NOT friendly at all.
She hears about mail order brides and the chance for a better life.

Will wants a wife and family. He has a secret from his past. They have to face the twists to see if they can have a future.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed by Alan Taylor.

True American story!

What a pleasure it is to read this book! It's a true American story of Anna, who has come to America for the American dream. Her story does not start out that way though. After the untimely death of her husband, she finds herself with her young son in a position of poverty. She overhears talk of mail order brides and begins a correspondence with Ryan, who is looking for a partner. But will this match end up in a marriage? Will going to Faith Creek resolve her problems? Will she find her second chance at happiness? I loved this story. I loved Ryan and the way he was, getting his life and farm together and the realization he wanted more. I love Anna and her bravery to take the chance and move with her son. This is a story that makes history what it is.

Alan Taylor continually gives a beautiful rendition to this series. His voice has come to be the Faith Creek characters for me, and I look forward to his narration.

I like how the author from time to time in this series brings in a previous character. This book was a great short read.
