The story just didn’t move along fast enough. U kind get the same idea what might have happened but the story just builds way too slowly

Another masterful web of secrets and deceit woven by this stellar author.  I believe this is my fourth book by O’Brien, and I have no way grown tired of him yet. The narration was on par too.

I fell asleep listening to this audio book and didn’t miss anything important. Long and drawn out, the plot was ok. The narrator sounded robotic at first, but it seemed to go away or I got used to it. I’m not a fan of one person doing all the voices, I feel like they don’t always get them right.

Definitely not my favorite by this author but still a good read. I always enjoy the twist and turns in Kevin O’Briens books. He also always manages to create great characters.

This was a decent read/listen. And although some of the characters were predictable, I did appreciate the twists throughout the book. The characters were likable and the storyline was certainly interesting. Also, the narrator did an excellent job portraying the characters.
I’d definitely recommend it.

I hope Tim Campbell has a lot of time on his hands because I want him to read everything from traffic signs to unabridged musings from the most wordy of writers to me for the rest of my life.

Looking forward to familiarizing myself with the works of Kevin O'Brien as well. Unique characters in a setting I'm not familiar with made the story all the more intense.
