About this listen

Everyone has something to hide....

The virile, all-American husband. The brainy golden girl. The happily wed bi-coastal couple.

Someone is watching….

Someone who has uncovered their darkest secrets. Someone who is hell-bent on making them pay for their sins.

No one suspects the truth....

Now there is no escaping the shadowy jury that watches their every move. Infiltrates every part of their lives. Stalking. Judging. Condemning. Punishment will be swift, severe, and final.

Critic reviews

"The narrative hits fever pitch in the final scenes as Olson, Cooper and Sutton confront the white supremacists that have sullied their reputations and threatened their loved ones. Gay rights, gun control and other hot-button issues augment the narrative tension, and O'Brien's snappy dialogue effectively maintains the breakneck pacing of this haunting read." Wasn’t sure

I wasn’t sure if I was going to finish it once I got started, but I’m glad I did. Tough content, but overall a good listen.

Didn’t finish

Boring, overly politicized. Got to chapter six and just couldn’t finish. Not as captivating as his other books.

Entertaining

The narrator isn’t my favorite but the storyline was on point for our current climate then and now! It took a little while to ramp up the excitement but it follows through in the middle and end.

Too many characters

It's bad enough there are so many characters I can't keep track of who's who....but the story keeps jumping between sets of characters. I eventually gave up. I just can't follow the story anymore

the terrible narrator.

the person that is reading this book is awful. it is distracting from the story. it's a shame too. I am having so much trouble staying engaged and I absolutely adore Kevin O'Brien! it's definitely not the story. it's the guy reading it. ugh!

Couldn't finish

This story seemed too drawn out for me. I couldn't finish. It put me to sleep.

Terrible story

Did not care for the story line. Lost interest. Didn’t like the homophobic remarks or use of the N-word. Storyline could have been different without the “hate”. Seems kind of outdated

the story line was good

the story could have been told without so many RACIAL SLURS. Therr's a trend with this author, all his stories include racists vocabulary.
