Hard to follow along

Overall a very good book but the reader’s monotone and almost robotic style can make it hard to follow the material he’s reading. He often briefly pauses mid-sentence leaving me concentrating on “did I just miss something, was that the end of a sentence”? By then he has resumed the sentence and I have to rewind to hear the words in a complete sentence. He often slows way down ( I think he’s trying to read ahead silently) again making me wonder if it’s for dramatic effect or to make something stand out in the story. Nope it’s just him reading in a not so smooth manner

Not good

I was looking for a book to help me and my husband learn how to communicate. Instead, I got a lesson in psychiatry. And the person reading the story has a really annoying voice. It’s like Squid word reading a bedtime story
