The Dark Horse - The story of Sean and Daniel...what a great tale. Though I figured out who...I was surprised at some of the constructs of the story. A great story...
A Vintage Affair - An interesting tale...Austin was a bit much but the premise of the story invited such a character as he. Jeff was infuriating but understandable. I am going to imagine that this was indeed a truly HEA! A good listen!
Blood Red Butterfly - This was an interesting and thought-provoking story...the action and the interaction between Kai and Ryo was intense and engaging. A pretty good story!!
Don't Look Back - Imagine not having any recent memory...this was an intense story and I enjoyed it immensely. I didn't want it to be who it turned out to be but the outlying of a narcissist...who would have thunk. Really enjoyed this story...did I mention that?.
Lovers and Other Strangers - I enjoyed the "who-dunnit" aspect of the story but I was a bit saddened at the premise. I mean, three years and nobody inquired about a person who had not been heard from...a twin to boot. I understand that the situation warrants anger and withdrawal, but it just bothered me a bit more than perhaps it should that a family member, regardless what douche, can be missing and if it were not for the car crash that Finn was in, would anybody have looked for the other twin...but I did enjoy the story.
Cards on the Table - This was a great story...I was engaged from the beginning sentence and enjoyed the intrigue and the budding relationship between the protagonists. A great listen!

If you could sum up Male/Male Mystery and Suspense Box Set in three words, what would they be?
Bonafide mysteries cum love storiesDid the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
I was on edge in almost all of them. What about the narrators’s performance did you like?
2 of the narrators' voices were strong. One was higher pitched more effeminate. So I stopped listening to the story he narrated whose setting was in the south. It may be that this is how the narrator was directed to speak.Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I was tearyat tmes when the ingenue guy is finally wrapped in the arms of the man he loves, although he never thought this person could be trusted to love him back.Any additional comments?
Good plot construction, good writing with creative metaphors. I'd recommend it.My favorite is "Lovers and other Strangers" whose setting is on an island town off Maine. When I read it a second time from the beginning I see the significance of many setting and character details that I glossed over at first. This story is the one that lingered with me a few days.
