Vanessa Edwin knocked this friends-to-lovers romance out of the park. I felt Eden’s insecurities and loyalty and love for Brett in every line and was enraptured all the way to the end. You need to listen to this one, it’s so good!

A cute story from friend to lover. Eden Waters and Brett Sebastián are inseparable, and while bratty but cute Eden goes about sharing her sexual experiences with Brett, about his cousin Scott (who is not really into Eden), Brett is truly in love with Eden. As the story develops they find themselves having sex and Eden realizing her true feelings for Brett. Love these characters 💕 Vanessa Edwin is superb! She beautifully carries the entire book, playing all characters, and of course she has a great male' s voice. Liked the ending, the writer did a great job with the plot.

Admittedly, the summary did warn me. Bad enough we have the premise of two allegedly best friends who nonetheless utterly fail to communicate or be remotely honest with each other. But, Eden was also shallow, selfish and oblivious, focusing on the more powerful, more rich cousin until she discovers her bestie is interested in another woman. What exactly about Eden should have had me rooting for her?
If this had been a one hour novella that upped the comedy, I think I could have forgiven these numbskulls and rolled with the story.
