About this listen

Ten years ago we were the toast of the town.

Tanner's acting career had just begun. He was hotter than the stage lights and twice as captivating. The gorgeous Australian A-lister was everyone's teenage dream. And he'd picked me. Or so I thought, until he proved to be as false as everything else about Hollywood.

Now I've finally scored the perfect opportunity to star in a major film. The kicker? Tanner will be my costar. I don't know if I can do this one more time....

Right now we're the talk of the town.

Jenna's even more beautiful than she was the last time we were together. And just like before, I can't keep my hands off her. She still doesn't know the truth. The secret of what really happened back then.

Now I have the length of this shoot to convince her to rewrite our script. But if I have her one more time, will once ever be enough?

A Second Chance at Love

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes! It was a fun, light, and sexy second chance romance that will make you laugh and swoon.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that the characters grew and matured. A decade had passed since they were last together and I was happy that they didn't repeat the same mistakes.

Have you listened to any of Erin Mallon and Rupert Channing ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is my first time listening to Rupert Channing, but it won't be my last. He was the perfect Tanner and his Australian accent was quite delicious! I've listened to a few of Erin Mallon's other audiobooks and have always been impressed. Both narrators did a fantastic job bringing the characters to life, especially Rupert Channing in the more emotional scenes.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I did laugh quite a bit (loved Walter!), but I didn't cry. This is a lighter listen and was just what I was looking for.

Any additional comments?

I was frustrated with the characters for letting a misunderstanding derail their relationship so easily. It was hard to believe that 2 people who loved each other so much wouldn't try to talk to each other/get closure (no matter how hurt or angry they were). They were so young though, so it made some sense that they lacked the maturity to handle things appropriately. Overall, this was still an enjoyable listen with fantastic narrators!

True Love

A love meant to be.
A story worth the read. However, my only problem is long they were apart.

Awesome Narration

Erin Mallon and Rupert Channing are amazing in this production. (Gotta love an Australian accent.)
The writing is solid and all the must have plot points are hit. A little too heavy on the sex and lack of story line for my tastes, but an enjoyable listen overall.

Blah!!

Story line was so so. Way to drawn out could have gone faster. Found myself skipping ahead to get on with it. Biggest thing for me was the female narrative her voice was too WHINNY!! Like every line! I did like the characters and would have enjoyed it more if I read it first. Although Jenna was annoying throughout the tale.

Not quite a 5

The voice of the main male character was somewhat irritating. It would have bee much better to have dual voices performing this story but otherwise the book was great.

Quick and fun listen!

One More Time is a flirty and sexy second chance romance. Jenna and Tanner are thrown back together to make a movie after a very public breakup 10 years earlier. From this premise comes a fast and hot story of regrets, misunderstandings and maturity that shows how first love conquers all. Tanner is the perfect blend of popular, hot male actor and tender, compassionate partner. Jenna on the other hand, is beautiful, loving but insecure. These two have combustible chemistry and the story has a fun and easy flow. I especially loved Jenna's best friend Walter, the voice of reason and good advice. With laugh out loud scenes as well as steamy scenes, this book is a pleasure to listen to.

Erin Mallon, who is an amazing narrator brings Jenna to life with her uncertainties and bravado, as well as sporting a very good aussie accent for the character of Tanner. My first Rupert Channing listen, and he is amazing as Tanner with an easy pace and a wonderfully melodic voice. Give this one a listen!

Absolutely loved!

There is nothing like hearing a good book come to life. These two narrators did a fabulous job brining these characters and their story to life. Rupert Channing has one sexy voice and I love the accent.

Jenna and Tanner dates ten years ago and never really got over each other. Now they’re together on a movie set playing opposite each other. It’s hard to stay away when the pull towards each other is still so strong.

I loved Jenna and Tanner’s story and wasn’t ready for it to end. I highly recommend this book. These were the perfect narrators that will make you fall in love with these characters.
