About this listen

As the only Beckett cousin who is still unattached, I’m a shoo-in to win the bet with my cousins to be the last man blissfully not in love by Christmas. Of course, I know they’re still going to make me follow the rules of our bet and go on six dates with the same woman—but I’ve figured out a way out of that too. I’m getting married. Is it love? Not even close. Chelle Finch needs a temporary husband, and I need to win this bet. We agree to put a ring on it knowing that in six months this marriage of convenience will end in divorce. Except, somehow dating my wife has me realizing that I don’t ever want to take this ring off if it means losing her.

What does the guy who can talk his way out of anything have to do to sweet talk his temporary wife into forever?

Outstanding series

I enjoyed the competition & the growth by the men. The women were truly real & relatable. I hope there is more…

Another enjoyable popcorn book

Loved this one the most out of all three in this mini series - it was just another enjoyable popcorn romance type book that can easily be enjoyed while doing other things.

Avery Flynn is great. This book wasnt as good, IMO

Was an alright continuation of the guys' story. DID NOT enjoy the word MANSPLAIN being cried and said literally 288 times throughout the book. Was a little difficult to endure after the 12th time. Did not care much for the whiney heroine and her crying "Don't tell me what to do" every other chapter. Other than that, loved hearing more about Grandma wrangling them into love and their family comraderie. The end was a little dumb with who/what the long awaited present was given to. Overall, I think Avery Flynn is a great author.

VERY ENJOYABLE!

Loved the story & the main female character was delightful. The male character was also every woman’s dream, he’s thoughtful & kind. I fast forwarded through all the gross sex scenes …too much information!!! The story didn’t need all those details for a good romance novel.

Great end to the series

I thoroughly enjoyed the conclusion of The Last Man Standing series with Chelle and Nash’s story. I think we’ve all met a mansplainer in our life, maybe not as extreme as Nash, and can understand Chelle’s frustration. I love the way that Nash had always seemed to pay attention to all the details when it came to Chelle. This book is a great story and you really need to listen to the whole series and enjoy the Beckett cousins.
