Peace!
I have listened to several meditation audiobooks but this is the first one I have listened in one sitting. That’s partly because there was so much to learn and also because the narration was so beautiful. The author tailored the book to absolute beginners like me, who never thought I could “do nothing” for any extended period. Having listened to the book I now believe in my own ability to meditate and I am doing so with a renewed consciousness and with loving kindness to myself.
This is the first time I truly understand the power of meditation. If, like me, you are new to the practice but are seeking to instil a sense of calm in your life, this book is a great place to start.

Learn How to Transform Your Life
I have tried to start a meditation practice several times but never made it a habit. With this book, now I know I can. The book discusses meditation and gives step-by-step instructions on how to practice it. It also discusses the several methods of meditation you can practice. The good part is you only have to start with 5 or 10 minutes! The benefits go beyond relaxation and stress relief. There are also health benefits as well as mind and spiritual benefits. The narrator has a very soothing voice that lends itself to wanting to meditate as you listen. I highly recommend this book.

Very tranquil
I really enjoyed listening to this book as it made me feel very at peace with starting to understand how meditation is meant to work. I had some preconceived notions about meditation but when listening to this book the author helped me understand more of how meditation works and how to make it work for you. The book guides you to help find your peace and break away the craziness of life. The author shares their knowledge to help empower personal growth and to help you understand how to become your best self.
I am excited to start integrating what I learned into my daily life.

Helpful for people to relate better to meditation
I have been on a journey of self exploration for decades and many people, including my own family members, can't relate or don't understand. They think meditation is some new age crap people use to avoid reality. Something as grounding as this book is super helpful for people who can't understand or relate to (or feel threatened by) the practice of meditation. It's unfortunately not enough to try to say to people: "It's practicing remaining aware in the present".
I'm gonna throw this book on in the car next time I'm with my mom!

Awesome!
This book explains the foundational basics of meditation and then goes on to guide the listener through the experience. This book is written from the perspective that you will be following the steps while the book is being narrated. What I appreciate most about this book is that it is not just facts about meditation. This book is practical, and I literally followed the steps while I was listening. This was my first time engaging in mediation. Honestly, I did walk away feeling more relaxed than when I started, and I deeply appreciated having a tool to guide me through the mediation process. I know I’ll be referring to this book over and over again, so it can help me get into this relaxed state of mind at the end of my day going forward.

This audiobook dismantles the myths of meditation and seamlessly integrates mindfulness into everyday life. The calming narration leads you into serenity amidst life's chaos, and provides immersive practices that foster personal growth. After listening to this audiobook, I was able to gain an understanding of my mental, emotional, and physical health and how to take steps to better it. I especially enjoyed the different practices included, and the focus on gaining an understanding of my health today and where I want it to be. The narration was also exceptional and really allowed me to immerse myself in the audiobook. I would highly recommend this audiobook to anyone looking to start their meditation journey or deepen their existing practice.
