Publisher's summary

From the best-selling author of the blockbuster Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus and What Your Mother Couldn't Tell You and Your Father Didn't Know comes this enlightening exploration of the common differences between men and women that brings valuable insights to the workings of male-female relationships.

Real love is unconditional. People are different. These are two statements with which most adults would agree. Yet, while recognizing that we are different is an essential part of creating a positive and loving relationship, many of us are instead intent on changing our partners so that they act and react more like ourselves. According to Dr. Gray, unconditional love is not possible without the recognition and acceptance of our differences. It is only through respecting and even appreciating them that we can eliminate many of the problems that plague our relationships.

Overcoming differences such as those found in how men and women communicate, how they cope with stress and deal with conflict resolution, as well as what it means to each gender to feel loved, is a major step toward giving of ourselves unconditionally and achieving happiness and fulfillment in our relationships. Each of us is unique, stop denying it and start celebrating it! It's the very essence not only of a loving and mutually supportive relationship, but of a better world for us all.

"Gray has a perfect pitch for the ways in which misunderstandings can escalate into shouting matches and deep-seated marital bitterness." (Publishers Weekly)

Truly inspiring and wise

I loved how all of the messages were conveyed in a way that was easy to understand. Everything started to click and I realized so many truth things about what I do, what I need, and what I need to do for my partner. I loved this, my partner and I listened to it together and we both loved it.

More than just a book for couples.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Learning to deal with the opposite sex extends to everyone you come into contact with throughout the day. I used the book to learn how to deal with my boss, coworkers or the grouchy customer service person on the phone and it's working wonders.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Men, Women and Relationships?

Men need to go into their caves and women should leave them alone. I'm a woman. That advice has stuck in my head and helped me more than once.

What about John Gray’s performance did you like?

I love all of John's books. Can't pin-point a specific performance when I like them all.

What did you learn from Men, Women and Relationships that you would use in your daily life?

Men and Women don't think the same way. Once you read this book, you'll learn how the opposite sex processes their information which will lead to a whole new understanding of people.

Any additional comments?

Yeah . . is John sitting on his duff somewhere. I'm overdue for another one of his fantastic books! =)

helpful, interesting and hopeful

I have read M are from Mars w are from V so I understood that not every man or woman will have the typical identity. In many parts when John refered something a woman would feel or how they would react would be opposite. I think that needs to be brought up in the beginning of all his writings.
I was able to keep that in mind, so I hope individuals will know about that. I thought there would be a lot more chapters with more advice on how to practice this information.
