Publisher's summary

Listen to the first three books in the medieval time travel romance series listeners call addictive: A Knight to Remember, Knight Moves, and Lonely Is the Knight.

Book 1: A Knight to Remember
Be careful what you wish for....

Lucy Merriweather's supposedly perfect boyfriend attempted to murder her during a visit to Blackford Castle. Falling through time to 1300s medieval England, she lands in a tangled heap at the feet of a tarnished, grumpy knight with secrets of his own and no time to spare for a crazy damsel in distress.

Book 2: Knight Moves
Melinda Merriweather's sister vanished on a trip to England. When someone tries to kill Melinda Merriweather, she knows there's more to the story of her missing sister. Determined to find out what happened, Melinda lands in England, only to get more than she bargained for. A picture she can't explain. A wrong turn leading to Falconburgh Castle and a whopper of a storm.

Falling through time to 1300s medieval England, she finds herself staring at the pointy end of a wicked-looking sword. A weary knight swoops in and rescues Melinda, only to find out she's no swooning damsel in distress. Now Melinda's greatest fear is falling in love and never finding out what happened to her sister.

Book 3: Lonely Is the Knight
Charlotte Merriweather didn't plan to steal the gorgeous low-slung sports car. But in her defense it was just sitting there running, with the door open, beckoning her. A terrible accident sends her traveling through time to 1330 England. Surely the handsome knight of the castle will aid her in the search to find her missing sisters?

Henry Thornton has sworn never to marry. Even if he is enchanted by the odd woman he finds washed up on the shore. He'll aid her and send the lady on her way. Or not. As the castle falls under siege, trapping Charlotte and Henry within the stone walls, will they risk everything for a chance at a love meant to last forever?

Quick Listen

This series was a good story line. I have read many of the time travel books and have determined that the narrator(s) are what really make the book. The must be able to imitate the dialect. This series was lacking in that department.

Great story, no sex

Just warning anyone expecting it. Wish the author felt differently, but oh well. Maybe it will make me less shallow.

Good story horrid narration

I wish I would have just read the books. Then I could have just used my imagination.

Great story line

The only thing I disliked about this trilogy was the narrator. I felt that she did not have a great voice for the men parts. She made them sound like women. But otherwise I enjoyed it.

Loved the whole series!

Huge fan of medieval time travel. These delivered. Loved the narration. Felt like all the characters had their own voice. Will be looking into more by this author!

Merriweather Sisters box set books 1-3

I had been a while since I had listened to book 1 in the series, so i listened all over again. What a great series! These books are so entertaining. Lucy is the middle sister and the first to travel back in time. After she is presumed dead in the future with her "husband" . Lucky for Lucy he really is dead, but as much as she wishes to return home she just can't leave the love of her life.
Melinda is the second one to travel. She just knows something is off and her sister is not dead. When she finally finds her sister and her true love she decides to stay as well.
Charlotte is not on board with any of this, that is until Melinda goes missing. She is the most free spirited of the three sisters. She actually prepares for this by learning how to fight and different things about the time to prepare herself for the adventure of finding her sisters.
The narration is fantastic, Kristina Blackstone does an amazing job with the accents and was such a pleasure to listen to.

Narrator ruined it.

I had read the hard copy when it first came out, and loved it enough to buy the audio five years later. Unfortunately, I bought the audio without sampling it first, based on having listened to another audio of a book by the same author. But this time it was a different reader. I steeled myself and listened to the entire first book of the trilogy that came under one price. But I decided that I could not listen to the other two books and put up anymore with the whiny, supercilious voice she gave to every one of the English characters, regardless of their time period, sex, or station in society. Enough, already.

Loved it, only…

All the characters, except for the sisters, sounded alike and they all sounded sinister. I couldn’t identify if the speaker was evil or kind. The speech was slow, breathy and had a falseness that was distracting.

It turned an otherwise fantastic book into a less than fantastic audio book.

Why oh why oh *why* did the producers let this go?

The narration was perfect. But the secondary characters all sounded weirdly evil to the point I expected them to be lying or held a foreboding subtext.

That was strange and is what I will remember most about this audio read.

But I really enjoyed the story and wanted to know what happens next.
