Publisher's summary

Just when I thought I'd finally gotten my life back on track, the unexpected happens.

It's the annual Night Festival in Hollow Cove, a paranormal festival extravaganza that lasts for five nights and features a multitude of powerful faces in our paranormal circles.

There's only one little problem. Someone ends up dead. And I'm the one accused of murder.

As my life spirals down the crapper once again, things between me and Marcus are even more confusing than ever before - hot - but ridiculously confusing. And to add to my wondrous good fortune - something or someone is trying to kill me.

So, what is a witch do to? Find the culprit and clear my name, that's what.

Great Story!!

I absolutely love Tessa, her aunts and her Vampire Friend. This series absolutely improves with each book. I love the fact that it feels like I am listening to a show like Charmed when I am listening to this series!! Don’t give up on it!

I absolutely love this series!

I’m just having the best time with this fun and spellbinding book series! The characters are so adorable and it’s just light hearted and engaging entertainment. I love that the storyline is not so dark and that there isn’t any heavy sexual elements like some authors insist on flooding their works with. This is something you could recommend to your granddaughters and not have a problem with. I’m going to be watching this author in the future because it’s just so refreshing to read someone who doesn’t have to depend on blood and gore or sex to write an addictive series!

Cute

I love this story, the aunts remind me of the golden girls (one of my fav shows) and the vampire friend is cute, though he sounds like a young teenager. Overall its a really cute book.

Midnight Spells

This was a tasty read in a series I am rather delighted in finding. A fun mix of magic mayhem and budding romance with enough twists to keep you guessing

Main Character is Immature

I was hoping that the main character wouldn’t be as immature in the second book but I was wrong. Some of the comments she made were ridiculously immature and she’s supposed to be 29. I really liked the storyline but can’t stand the dumb comments. Won’t be reading the rest of the series

Bad Audio Recording

At least a dozen times the reading would be interrupted by a loud and disturbing static sound. These stories are wonderful but the recording has some issues that definitely bothered me.

narrator keeps hitting the mic

narrator keeps hitting the mic and ruining the entire performance.

also, for those of us with autism, this book is not funny.
I can hear the jokes or what's supposed to count as a joke but for me it's just stupid.
for instance - aunt: something smells bad (talking about a plot against her niece)
other aunt: sorry that was me. didn't think it'd reach over there (farted, obv)

why wouldn't it have reached? obviously she means she farted so why wouldn't a fart reach across the room? didn't the author research farting and how far feces particles reach? this is something everyone should just know, but still.
