Setting the Scene: To say Blaire Wilkes was down on her luck would imply she had luck. Her work history since college was abysmal. She just never seemed to fit in anywhere. She was a hazard when it came to technology. Chaos seemed to follow in her wake. Once again, she is unemployed with an almost empty bank account when she gets a call about a position for which she has no memory applying, based on a profile she doesn't recall posting, in a town of which she has never heard, and what did she mean "paranormal?"

What I Thought: This was a quick, fun read. Blair is likable, as are most of the characters, and while this clearly is an introductory book, the plot provides enough twists and turns to keep the reader engaged. I look forward to Blair's journey of discovery into her past and her future.
