I really tried to like it but........

Again, I just couldn't get passed the narrator's voice which ruined the book for me - in fact I had it on double speed and then kept forwarding the chapters to get to the end partly also due to the fact that I couldn't warm to the female character's stupidity! The plus points were that I liked Delaney's character.

I've already downloaded the 3rd book so I suppose I'll have to give it a try - let's hope that one doesn't have the same theme that the previous 2 had namely weak, whiney, whinge women .

Worth the credit? - Naah, not in my opinion.

Heroine is a 5 yr old!

At least the narrator thinks so. The voice she uses belongs to one. I usually start listening to an audiobook with my expectations low as far as narration goes. I can pretty much tell myself that this is an audiobook and I'm going to have to be ok with what I get. That way I can usually listen to anything. But this is terrible. I actually got grossed out during the romance scenes because the female sounds like a little child.

Narrator makes stupid heroine even more idiotic

Why oh why does she have to be so annoyingly stupidly dumb.... i gave up on chapter 23 as I don’t like to feel irritated and annoyed.....
