Story
For the first time, Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor speaks directly to his fans and shares his worldview about life as a sinner. And Taylor knows how to sin. As a small-town hero in the early '90s, he threw himself into a fierce-drinking, drug-abusing, hard-loving, live-for-the-moment life. Soon Taylor's music exploded, and he found himself rich, wanted, and on the road. His new and ever-more-extreme lifestyle had an unexpected effect, however; for the first time, he began to actively think about what it meant to sin.

Story
In the tradition of the late, great George Carlin, Corey Taylor, the lead singer of Slipknot and Stone Sour, sounds off in hilarious fashion about the many vagaries of modern life that piss him off. Whether it's people's rude behavior in restaurants and malls, the many indignities of air travel, eye-searingly terrible fashion choices, dangerously clueless drivers, and - most of all - the sorry state of much modern music, Taylor's humor and insight cover civil society's seeming decline.

Story
People kill people. Guns just make it easier. A gun is sold in the classifieds after killing a spouse, bought by a teenager for needed protection. But which was it? Each has the incentive to pick up a gun, to fire it. Was it Rand or Cami, married teenagers with a young son? Was it Silas or Ashlyn, members of a white supremacist youth organization? Daniel, who fears retaliation because of his race, who possessively clings to Grace, the love of his life? Or Noelle, who lost everything after a devastating accident, and has sunk quietly into depression?

Misappropriated Art
Mind to Mind: The Lost Book of Poems and Songs - is a poignant, thought-provoking collection that ingeniously marries lyrical verse with the pulsating rhythms of rap. A compelling exploration of cultural misappropriation, this anthology seeks to redefine art and its ownership, delivering a powerful message to its readers.
The book masterfully takes its readers through a rollercoaster of emotions, painting vivid images with its intricate wordplay and deep symbolism. It pushes boundaries and challenges societal norms, a testament to the power of art as a tool for change.
One of the most captivating aspects of the anthology is the inclusion of a white woman performing the verses in a rap style. This bold choice might seem controversial at first, but it effectively serves to underscore the central theme of cultural misappropriation. It creates a stark contrast, yet also shows that art can transcend racial and cultural barriers. Her command of the rhythm and the beat is undeniable, and her performances inject the verses with an energetic dynamism that is both unexpected and enthralling.
In the end, "Mind to Mind: The Lost Book of Poems and Songs - Misappropriated Art" is not just a collection of poems and songs; it is a call to open dialogues and build bridges. It dares to question the status quo and provokes deep reflection, making it a must-read for anyone who cherishes thought-provoking, boundary-pushing art.

Powerful if I do say so myself
This book changed my life. It helped me to realize that I was not alone in my struggles and that there were other people out there who had been through similar experiences. This book gave me hope and showed me that it was possible to overcome my challenges. It was written by Emmanuel Simms, who is a professional in the field of mental health.
