About this listen

The walls were closing in. Time was running out. The unthinkable had occurred.

As defeats mounted, desperation took hold. Project Terracotta was complete. Jade Dragon now had a body—and an army. All that stood between certain defeat and potential victory was a final decision: one that would alter the course of humanity.

Could the human mind outfox an AI? Had Jade Dragon truly become unstoppable?

The battle for Taiwan hung on a razor’s edge. NATO scrambled to stop another Dunkirk in the south of the island while the Marines fought for every inch of ground in the north. Had the allies finally bitten off more than they could chew, or were these the final death throes of the PLA Army?

A devil’s deal was revealed. An alliance was destabilized.

The coalition must hold, no matter the costs. The fate of humanity depended on learning from the past, conquering the present, and ensuring the future. A war at all costs couldn’t mean the end of tomorrow. An alternative had to be found.

Fast action leading to climax

Another well done saga in the Monroe doctrine series which seems to coming to the climax. Excellent character development and attention to detail buy someone who has been there. Looking forward to book eight!

Amazing story….

How this series doesn’t rate 5 stars is a shock to me. I’m as picky as it gets for Techno thrillers.. this is awesome!

Pure filler for the sake of author, making money

The entire book was just pure, combat filler to add another book to the series. Combat scenes are nice, but added excruciatingly little to the overall arching story.

Found extremely frustrating. If the author doesn’t pick it up, I will just forget about the series and consider not buying other books from him out of fear of him doing this again in future series.

Excellent story line .

More than a bit worrying in this age of technology and pathetic politicians . Fortunately are military people are even more worried than I am . It’s left to a few brilliant individuals to buy humanity’s future ( do or do not ) . There is no try with an AI .

The series is slowing

This volume was much slower and with much less intensity. What was supposed to be the final book was a drawn out slowed story to stretch it out for another volume

China war

Damn scary about the AI‘s. Just to let you know how powerful they are today, if Joe Biden still alive for the next election, he’s going to win because of an AI. I just don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. It definitely isn’t New Jersey.

Get the acronym right!!!!

For the sake of this series can the narrator please get the acronyms right. The biggest issue is Chef of the boat. This is pronounced as COB like corn on the cob. So say the word COB not C, O, B it’s driving me absolutely nuts. Please correct this so I can enjoy the part that part of this book. Other than that these are great book amazing story with great characters. I’m sure it dose not bother anyone that has not served.

An exceptionally entertaining book however kind of scary though!
Let’s hope we never have another peer on Peer, or in our lifetimes, or ever again!
