About this listen

To destroy Jade Dragon's lair, an unthinkable weapon is unveiled. Have the Allies gone too far?

The Chinese super-AI had achieved its master plan—an autonomous robotic army, air force, and navy. As President Yao and the People's Liberation Army faced defeat on the battlefield, full command of the PLA was handed over to Jade Dragon, which says it can slay the enemies of China to usher in a new dawn of global Chinese hegemony for the 21st century.

The robots were coming…

With the Terracotta Killers walking the land, Shadow Dragons and Dark Swords prowling the skies, and Sea Dragons roaming the Yellow Sea, a dystopian science fiction nightmare had become real. Machines now dominated the battlefield.

Were these wonder weapons being unveiled too late? Was Jade Dragon's robotic army enough to turn the tide?

Every inch of ground was surveyed, monitored, and fought over as man fought machine for survival. Could the arsenals of democracy outproduce China? Could the West outlast the East, or would Jade Dragon pull off the impossible—and win the AI war?

With victory or defeat balancing on a razor's edge, the Allies refused to go quietly into the night. They had a secret technological breakthrough of their own. Would the ends justify the means if it led to victory, or were the unknown risks too big to accept?

President Delgado was about to order the unthinkable.

You'll love this eighth and final book in the Monroe Doctrine series because the way the limits are pushed is frightening beyond imagination.

Compelling storyline that in this day and age, could feasible happen in the not too distant future.

The narration performed was gripping with inflection that sparked the reader's emotions.

As a retired Naval Officer, I appreciated the author's accurate depiction of the military and its operations.

I thoroughly enjoyed the entire series of Monroe Doctrine! Well done!

I really enjoyed the book the story was great, the narrator was awsome. What I didn't like was their wasn't many battles with th terracotta Robots , I mean the book it says their were thousands being made but there wasn't enough contact with them, also I feel JD was destroyed to easy , in most story's
the robots had a back up system for something like this . thats just me ,

Great story line a little disappointed how it ended

This last week or so I have binge listened to this series, all 8 volumes, each time I listen to these stories it gets me thinking how perilous our world is and how close we may be to something like these scenarios coming to fruition....
I find these stories fascinating yet somewhat frightening as a mature (late 50's age) adult thinking about the world we are leaving for our upcoming generations.......

this series is riveting to say the Least

The best researched military action book that provides great insight into the new world AI. Great food for thought about our future.

Well grafted military action

Volume VIII is more diplomacy and less techno-thriller than previous volumes, a bit disappointing. Nonetheless, highly recommend this series.

Great Series

This volume was an excellent listen, especially compared to volume 7. I do appreciate that the story was wrapped up and finished. I'm glad I won't have to wait on “The Monroe Doctrine - The Rest Of The Story” series to see how things end. This volume was well written, and the pace proceeded quickly. I highly recommend this book.

The best saved for the last.

This series has been great, and this final entry was riveting all the way through. I highly recommend the entire library from the author and his frequent collaborators. Looking forward to the new series on Taiwan!

Awesome final book to the series

Great topics, but never got into it the battle field of Robot and Drone technologies. The killer drones were a great idea, devastating weapon. Yet we never heard from them again. The Jackal same thing. Book 8 seemed hurried, story was short on details in battles vs books 1-7. I would have enjoyed more in-depth data on the weapon technologies that ended the war. Overall good.

Left wanting more in-depth story telling of future weapons.

I really enjoyed the story line of AI being a force to be reckoned with in this series. The research and detail that went into it was great. No misuse of military terms and thoughtfully laid out. The narrator did a superb job and didn't distract from the story. I definitely loved the series and the final book tied it together. Well done!

Great end to WW3
