About this listen
Moonfall, the picturesque town nestled in the mountains of southern California, is a quaint hamlet of antique stores, cider mills, and pie shops, and Apple Heaven, run by the dedicated nuns of St. Gertrude's Home for Girls, is the most popular destination of all. As autumn fills the air, the townspeople prepare for the Halloween Haunt, Moonfall's most popular tourist attraction. Even a series of unsolved deaths over the years hasn't dimmed Moonfall's enthusiasm for the holiday.
Now, orphan Sara Hawthorne returns to teach in the hallowed halls of St. Gertrude's where, 12 years before, her best friend died a horrible death. In Sara's old room, distant voices echo in the dark and the tormented cries of children shatter the moon-kissed night.
But that's just the beginning. For Sara Hawthorne is about to uncover St. Gertrude's hellish secret...a secret she may well carry with her to the grave.
"Combines eerie eroticism with page-turning terror." (Pasadena Weekly)

His only passion is the supernatural, and his only family is his grandmother, whose aches and pains, he soon learns, aren’t just from old age but from cancer. Desperate to help his grandmother pay for treatment, Erasmo sets up shop as a paranormal investigator.

One of my favorites!
BRAVO! Another page gripping, suspenseful, and magnificent story by Tamara Thorne, brilliantly read by Jamison Walker. I have to say, out of all the books I love by Tamara Thorne, this is my absolute favorite. I highly recommend this to all lovers of horror, murder mystery, and fantastic writing. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat and will not disappoint.

Finally!!! A horror book in the horror category!
Great book- I’ve been listening to so many Dunn’s lately. It was great to hear a true horror book! Demons, Satan worshipers, witches, this one has it all and the writing was developed and didn’t leave me feeling like I stumbled on a YA book!

Enjoyed
This is my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it. This book was not scary at all. The way the story was narrated, makes you feel like you are right there watching it as it was unfolding. I look forward to more books by this author.

Spine Tingling
This was a fantastically creepy story. Some aspects seemed a little predictable, but it didn’t take away the goosebumps or general horror I felt while reading/listening to this story.
Witches, Nuns, Gargoyles, Ghosts and more this book had it all. Not to mention it was centered around... you guessed it, Halloween. The narration was wonderful. I wasn’t sure at first, but quickly realized that Jamison Walker has the perfect voice for this genre. Well done!
I highly recommend this book.

Meh
The story was ok, but my biggest complaint is the narrator. I could not stand the way he talks, almost as if he was trying too hard to sound cool and manly. Tone it down bud.
