Publisher's summary

They brought death and destruction to Earth. Now it’s time to return the favor.

The massive Mozari spaceship struck without warning. In an instant major cities were leveled. Millions were wiped from the face of the Earth. The horrifying message to those remaining - your training starts now.

Pods scattered across the globe are filled with strange, alien wares and scientists of all backgrounds must come together to harness the advanced technology in a race to discover its secrets before the one-year deadline.

And before their experiments with the exo suits kill another soldier.

Few possess the rare antibodies needed to control the Mozari armor. But Daniel West soon discovers he’s one of the civilians selected to be fitted and trained to use the suit. Instead of following in his family’s footsteps, he joins the military and is assigned to a team on a mission to the Mozari ship. But when tragedy strikes his team, he must take command of a mission into enemy territory that promises nothing less than certain death.

What they discover on the ship changes everything.

This novel contains violence and profanity.

Fresh perspective

Morazi Arrival presents a fresh perspective on the theme of alien invasion. The author gives us an intriguing plot, well drawn characters , and plenty of action and plot twists. Andrew Tell does a professional narration.

Enjoyed the concept...but

This book, in my opinion, had several weaknesses in the development. It was difficult to start enjoying because the story had a slow start.

I did not like the way the author developed the lead character (Daniel West)! He is childish, self-occupied, and then focuses on a love interest, which was totally inappropriate, given that it interferes with his judgment, which subsequently leads to self-incrimination! I would have preferred a stronger lead character, one who didn't whine about the events happening!

Concerning the narrator: I did not like the way Andrew had a pausing, kind of jerky, presentation in his narration. It was distracting for me!

I Really Tried to Like/Finish this Book, but Can't

The story line of the book is interesting (I don;t want to give any spoilers), but the characters are too simplistic, and worse is the dialogue, no one speaks like the characters in the book. It is almost as if the writer has never heard U.S. military forces in any branch speak with one another. Sorry to say that I am returning the book with only 20% remaining to complete.

Great military SCI-FI!

Every once and a while you run across a book that will go into the multiple listen category. This is one of them! Great characters with a believable plot, Bad guys, Aliens, Unlikely Heroes and it all works together fantastically! Well worth the time and credit.

This book was provided at no cost for a fair and honest review.

Cool concept.

Mozari Arrival starts with a cool concept and one heck of a big bang, unfortunately the book also suffers from a few issues. After an incredible in which the Earth suffers an unbelievable attack, the story shifts from high gear into idle where we spend the next couple of hours on rather mundane issues. I understand that Mr. Colrain is trying to show us the type of man Daniel West is, but I just felt it could have been done much quicker. Things pick up as West joins the army and begins training, but then once again things get slowed down when we Mr. Colrain decides to focus on a budding romance. When we shift back into the action, where our heroes finally get to test out their new abilities, it's surprisingly against regular folks, which I must say was kind of disappointing. Worse is that they have serious trouble with them, which given the technology Daniel and his team are using, just didn't seem realistic. Given what we saw they could do it training, they should have been able to tear the religious zealots apart before they were even aware they were under attack. I'm not saying the book wasn't enjoyable, because it was despite the pacing issues. But the book blurb/description promises a very different tale than what gets delivered. The entire book feels like it's mostly there to set up what should be an action packed book 2. I've been a fan of Andrew Tell for a while now, and once again he delivers a great performance. Andrew Tell slaughters what could be a good book

The narrator, Andrew Tell is what ruins this book. Though the religious rhetoric is frustrating. Any real life religious persons need mental help for being subjected to long term mental conditioning, brainwashing, and higher tendencies toward committing religious violence.

Good Book

Im more of a fantasy guy but I wanted to try something new and this was a good read there were parts that I saw coming but other parts not so much which i really enjoyed. Story really takes an interesting turn so try and hang on for that to happen. this is a pretty fleshed out world and all who are in it.

Exciting Introduction to a Science Fiction Series

This story was pretty exciting and a good bit of fun. Basically the world has been "besieged" by alien powers who tell the populace to unite and win (or something like that), they also blew up two cities who were about to be at war. Life under those circumstances is odd for Daniel, a man nearing the end of his education as a lawyer but disillusioned by the effect of the alien presence. He finds an opportunity to have some purpose, helping a friend keep hold of his daughter, and finds himself part of the blackest of black ops where not everyone has given up. It's there that he faces ridiculous training in order to defend the world against the aliens and the semi-terrorist religious factions worshiping them. But you're reading this and know it doesn't end there. The stakes get higher and higher, as does the tension, as he maneuvers through a renewed existence trying to stay alive. It's fun and exciting, and even if you see some of it coming you won't see all the twists and turns. I'm personally excited for the ability to return to this world and see what comes next.

Beginning with a bang

It started with the destruction of Sidney and the arrival of the starship overhead. Daniel never planned to be a soldier, but now hes a hard case. Heartwrenching story with lots of action and tension. Already into book two! I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
