About this listen

Jack the Ripper lives again!

While on vacation in Bermuda, Jessica Fletcher is surprised to hear the local population is abuzz over a trio of murders, each bearing an eerie resemblance to the 1888 Jack the Ripper killings.

Jessica dismisses the panicked chatter as just that - until her friend Thomas Betterton's niece is found dead on the beach after a party. And when Scotland Yard Inspector George Sutherland arrives to investigate, Jessica can't help but get involved - an act that brings her dangerously close to a killer....

Jessica "On The Road"

My favorite "Murder She Wrote" books (and TV series episodes) are the ones where she travels. In this story Jessica is in Bermuda.

There is a good "who done it". I didn't guess the solution ahead of time. The setting on the beach in Bermuda is beautiful. If you live in an area that has cold, snowy winters (as I do), this book would be a perfect literary "escape" to read in January or February.

This is an "easy read" that will entertain you if you are a fan of this series.

The Ripper in the Sun

You will find yourself wired for sound until the book is done. A little laid back but serious mystery element.

Jessica Fletcher never disappoints.

I enjoy Murder She Wrote mysteries. I was excited because I figured out who the murderer was. But, then, of course, there's got to be a twist. I didn't see that one coming. But, that's what makes these books so enjoyable.

location

I like almost all of these. The fact that she is continually putting herself into Dangerous situations without carrying personal protection drives me nuts, but I get it.

Not the best Jessica book …

It is easy to get spoiled on Murder She Wrote books. But after a number of these audible MSW books, this was very lame. You might want to skip this and use your credit on another in the series.
