About this listen
Behind the man was a powerful faith. He could not have performed exorcisms for thirty years without supernatural aid. Toward the end of his life, while retired in a rest home in Rome, he revealed his secret: the Rosary. For years, he had an unpublished book that he kept in a drawer of his cell in the Generalate of the Paulines in Rome. It consisted of reflections and meditations on the rosary that he wrote personally. Shortly before he died, he gave it to his order to publish. Now, for the first time, that book has been published in English.
As a biblical scholar, Fr. Amorth breaks open all twenty mysteries of the Rosary one by one. The mysteries–including the luminous mysteries introduced by St. John Paul II–were designed to offer meditations on the life of Christ. Using Scripture, biblical and historical research, and Church teachings, Fr. Amorth brings these mysteries to life. He takes the reader through the entirety of the life of Christ. After reading this book, those who pray the Rosary will never do so the same way.
These pages are full of light, like the life of Father Amorth. May they illuminate your life.

Story
The Most Holy Rosary is one of the greatest prayers in the history of the Church. Garnished as it is with the testimony of saints and popes for the last thousand years, the only greater prayers are the Mass and the Divine Office. It is a prayer for the people, to be said over and over, and yet many still seek ways to enter into the deeper mansions of spiritual richness to be found in this devotion. If you seek to reap the full harvest of this bountiful prayer, focus on the mysteries to better follow the life of our Lord through the eyes of Our Blessed Lady.

The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

But all recognise the book of Enoch as one of the most important apocalyptic works outside of the Bible.

Story
Just before Christmas in 1843, a debt-ridden and dispirited Charles Dickens wrote a small book he hoped would keep his creditors at bay. His publisher turned it down, so Dickens used what little money he had to put out A Christmas Carol himself. He worried it might be the end of his career as a novelist. The book immediately caused a sensation. And it breathed new life into a holiday that had fallen into disfavor, undermined by lingering Puritanism and the cold modernity of the Industrial Revolution.

Story
When Father Gabriele Amorth died in 2016, he was the world's most famous exorcist, a legendary, miraculous chaser of demons. To the many he served, Father was a godsend, freeing them from years of demonic oppression; to others, he was just a crank an extremist priest who saw the Devil everywhere. In these never-before-published interviews, Father Amorth takes you into his private world, giving you a harrowing vision of his daily battles with the Devil. You'll encounter a solid Christian and a humble priest, one who jokes and takes life as God—or the Devil!—hands it to him.

My title explains itself. But it's misleading. There are more than 40 reasons. Each of my reasons is an independent point, so I have not organized this book by a succession of chapters or headings. After all, most people only remember a few big ideas or separate points after reading or listening to a book. I've never heard anyone say "Oh, that was a good continuous-process-of-logically-ordered-argumentation" but I've often heard people say, "Oh, that was a good point." And back to my main point: "Why are you a Catholic?" is a good question. A good question deserves a good answer.

Story
The Diary is an amazing narrative that chronicles the experiences of a simple, uneducated Polish nun who received a special call shortly before the outbreak of World War II. Our Lord appeared to her and instructed her to spread the message of his Divine Mercy to all, especially in our current age, which is full of so much distress and worldliness. The message of the Divine Mercy is that God loves us all of us. And He wants us to recognize that his mercy is greater than our sins, so that we will call upon him with trust, receive his mercy, and let it flow through us to others.

Do you beg God’s forgiveness when you rebel against him? Do you long to spend more time in the presence of the Lord? Do you praise the “lover of your soul” with your every breath? This Anglican thoroughly enjoyed it!
As an Anglican/Protestant just dipping my toe into the Rosary (and Marian devotions, in general), I thoroughly enjoyed Fr. Gabriel's exposition of the mysteries of the Rosary. I plan to re-listen and refer back to this book frequently.

Good reflections on the mysteries
This Roman exorcist provides a service to us who pray the rosary with his brief meditations on all the mysteries of the rosary. He provides a point of view which allows the reader to take their place at each scene without sensationalizing and grounded in solid theology.
