This book was very accurate and informative!

As I have been engaged in a narcissistic relationship for almost 2 years, this book was very accurate and on target for describing the 3 types of Narcisissm.

Concise, yet complete coverage on narcissism.

I enjoyed it and thought it was helpful. it was a concise summary, that validated/consolidated info that I found from really available sources in the net.

Thank You

I liked the simple clear straight to the point explanations of the subject on narcissistic behavior. And I would recommend it to anybody who is experiencing these types of behaviors from person or persons that they may have to interact with on a daily basis.

Comes across as if written by a man hater!

The book has good information and delivers a good insight into the condition of narcissism.

However, the author's choice to use only the male connotation , even if validated in the beginning, left me feeling more put off by the vernacular than appreciative of the content. A 60/40 split between men and women with the disorder does not justify the singular use of only men in this book.

I am a man helping out a woman who has a 5 yr old child, of whom I suspect is a narcissist (now understood to have an extreme case of it). But, I have never been sexually harassed by her!

The tone throughout this book gave me the impression that the author is a man hater! There must be a difference between the psychology of this disorder between male and female. These differences were never explored or discussed!

Not much info on how to beat the Narc

Many of us victims have found and learned what and who a Narcissist is and about. NPD was mentioned, same as the overt/covert Narc. there wasn't much info on how to beat a NARC. It isn't as if we want to beat them at their own game, we need to beat them by becoming ourselves again and come out stronger than we were when we were sucked in. nothing in this book helped me, all it did was repeat definitions of a NARC. other than walk away, seek counseling, there is nothing to help the victim of a NARC.

No Substance

While the descriptions of how a narscissist behaves seems accurate comma the book just seems to be written by someone who has had to deal with a narcissist but has no training or study on the subject. there's nothing scientific or particularly insightful about the book
