About this listen

Brash entrepreneur Roan McAuley has no problem getting naked. But being the only one in the room dropping kilt and giving plenty isn't his idea of fun - even if it's for the "Men of the Highlands" calendar and a good cause. However, getting feisty photographer Tessa Vandergriff all hot, bothered, and hungry is proving irresistible…even though she's not his type. And even if the sizzling attraction between them is changing everything this roguish playboy thinks he knows about lust…and love.

Terrific plot but sadly the author fails to use all of it. Interesting stuff like Katie ‘parents and that plot line was so weak. Too much mental anguish. More interaction with the setting. Great descriptions. I think in the reader did a great job on female voices, but often hard to hear any real difference or male voices I found that problem in the first book too.

It could have been so much better!

Soooo many mispronounced words -- especially names of places - not only in this book, but in Men in Kilts, The Great Scot and Some Like It Scot. Words like Maryland spoken by a native Marylander. The word lascivious was slaughtered do badly it took quite some time to discern what the word was - other simpler words badly pronounced as well.

Loved the stories - hated the narration.

Awful narrator

Would you try another book from Donna Kauffman and/or Chloe Lynn?

I will take the other reviews into more consideration in the future. Many people seemed to think this book was too long and I definitely agree.

Any additional comments?

I am wondering if this book is ever going to get over. I just want answers to questions, not all this talk and talk and talk....... Good gravy. It is a great story, but I kind of feeling like I am being lectured. I got through the first book without too much problem, but this one is just dragging. I think I will skip the last one, so I hope most of my questions are answered by the end of this one.

Too much dialog, detail...
