The daughter of an aging rock star finds herself working for the hottest musician on the planet and is shocked when sparks start to fly—especially since she swore she’d never, ever date a celebrity—in this unputdownable romance that is perfect for fans of Christina Lauren and Emily Henry.
She wants three things. He isn’t one of them...
Dumped by her cheating ex, fired from her dream job, and about to lose her flat: Clementine Monroe is not having a good day. So when her sisters get her drunk and suggest reviving a childhood ritual called the Breakup Spell, she doesn’t see the harm in it.
But now Clemmie has accidentally ruined a funeral, had her first one-night stand, and she’s stuck with a new job she definitely doesn’t want—spending six weeks alone with the gorgeous and very-off-limits rock star, Theo Eliott.
He’s the most famous man on the planet. Her life’s a disaster. As their summer together turns into its own kind of magic, is Clemmie cursed to repeat the mistakes of her past—or will her future see all her wishes come true?

Under your Spell is a magical blend of humor and heart with a touch of that British Irreverence that I love!
After getting dumped by her cheating ex-boyfriend, losing her cat, and finding out her job is going away, Clementine makes this crazy connection with Theo at their friend’s funeral. They share an amazing night together and she believes she’ll never see him again.
Little does she know Theo is one of the most famous people on the planet, a super popular rock star! The exact sort of person she’s been avoiding her whole life! As luck would have it, an opportunity comes up that forces them to spend 6 weeks together at a cottage on the beach while he writes music for his new album.
I don’t normally gravitate towards stories that begin with a one night stand, but the friendship that develops between Clementine and Theo and their slow-burn relationship was pure perfection! This story will easily be an all time favorite ROM-COM for me!
The relationship between Clementine and her sisters was tender and a humorous part of the story. I could not get enough of their interactions!!
What you’ll find:
The mums
6 weeks at a beach cottage
Kale smoothies
Vampire diaries
Singing Hinnies
Jars of daisies
Pop Tarts
Chocolate chip ice cream
Learning to trust again
Sea shells
I laughed so much and when Theo writes the most beautiful love letters to Clemmie at the end… I cried!
“Oh my darling, oh my darling..”
If you can, please listen to the audio on this one! The English readers voice is beautiful. She brought so much into the story - making the experience absolute perfection!!

Perfection

My only small complaint is that there should have been more time with the mothers, but it is fundamentally a romance, so that's totally forgiveable.
Very fun. Worth your time!
