Good ole fashioned Western

Shows the true grit of the men and women the West required. Author reminded me of some similarities from Louis Llamore. I thoroughly enjoyed this one to the very last minute. I’d always change an ending if I could. But all good reads must come to an end at some point.

A Long Gone Era

I love listening to the McCabe series. It's relaxing and nostalgic. All of the main characters are good people but still have realistic flaws. Just what you'd expect in the late 1800's. Sure are a lot of bad guys too! The narrator is perfect for this type of book.

Love the McCabe family series!!

When I started the first book I wasn't too sure about the Narrator but he grew on me quickly. I really looked forward to the second book as the first was fantastic!! This book I didn't enjoy as much, but it still was a good book and easy to listen to.

Downloading book 3 as we speak😄

Stubborn People

I liked that the different couples came together and the fathers came to understanding with daughters and son-in-laws and family stood together and won the battle against outlaws.

Good story

J.Rodney Tuner is a very good narrator. His voice makes the story of a cowboy mountain man come live.

I'm so glad I didn't stop after Book 1...

... As this second novel in the series takes a new thread but still involves the original Book 1 characters.

Wonderful story in early west frontier

Great story about honor, temperance and outlaws. Beautiful open landscape, hard work and accomplishments by the young and the old.
