About this listen

Duke Sullivan is the oldest brother of my family’s hated rival. He also happens to be my good morning text and the man I have no right to have a secret crush on. Duke is strictly forbidden.

After months of keeping our friendship hidden, the stars align, sparks ignite, and we finally give into temptation.

Knowing our relationship could never be more than stolen glances and longing looks, we agree to stay secret friends–until two pink lines change everything.

With our small town and both our families in an uproar, Duke does the unthinkable.

He packs up my belongings and moves me into his house. Despite agreeing to weather the storm together and to try to figure out how to co-parent, living with Duke proves nearly impossible.

Every soft smirk, every brush of his calloused hand against my sensitive skin makes me want to burst into flames. It becomes clear, despite the feud, Duke is relentlessly going after what he wants and I think that might be . . . me.

I’m the quiet daughter with the wrong last name, but it’s obvious he wants so much more than just one night.

Grumpy Duke ❤️❤️

Grumpy / sunshine books are my favourite and this one was so good!! This is such a great series!! The family feud that had gone on for many generations was hard on this relationship but Duke wasn’t going to let it stop the relationship that starts to bloom between him and Sylvie. Especially when a surprise pregnancy happens. Loved the series and will re-listen again for sure. Now I really hope the other family - Kings books are being written and coming to audio!!! 🤞🏻

Romeo and Juliet in a small town

Duke and Sylvie both have an attraction to each other that shouldn't happen since their families hate each other. They start up a secret friendship for over a year. They end up having a secret date that turns into more. When Sylvie ends up pregnant from the one time they're together, Duke takes the chance to have her near him and be part of the pregnancy. I really liked this book. The narration was perfect by Sebastian York and Savannah Peachwood.

PERFECTLY cast

Lena has a way of storytelling that hooks you from the beginning and never lets you go. Duke has been an enigma from the beginning, and learning more about him fed my soul. The love he has for Sylvie. The immediate way he accepted her and the baby. The way he fights for his family. I loved seeing Sylvie come into herself throughout this book. I also loved the sneak peeks into the King family. Absolutely stunning finale to an incredible series. I’m already feral and ready for her next book!

Sebastian and Savannah are a DREAM team. The ONLY thing that could have made this book better would be if it was in duet.

OBSESSED!

Lena. Woman. WHAT DO YOU PUT IN THESE BOOKS AND THESE SULLIVAN MEN!?!?! I cannot stop swooning. This is BY FAR, my favorite book by this author. I am, and will always be a Lee Sullivan STAN, however, Big brother came in EXTRA hot and almost swooped my man out of his reigning title. Duke. FREAKING. Sullivan. Can we all just take a minute and appreciate a blue collar man that pays attention to his woman?! The way he found her PINTEREST BOARD!? Made her a pregnancy craving charcuterie board!? I literally just cannot with him. The obsession is so real. I have said it already 3 times and I will say it again, Outtatowner is my favorite place to visit. This small town and its cast of quirky characters are just the epitome of fun. Lena's writing is so dynamic and has you navigating every emotion possible over the course of these books. One minute your laughing hysterically, the next you are sweating and panting. It is absolutely no secret that I am not always a fan of unplanned pregnancy trope but if Lena writes it, I'm going to read it. Regardless of it not being a trope I usually enjoy, I can already guarantee that this will be a top read of the year. It just had everything. Watching the Sullivan's and King's unite in this special way was simply the perfect end to this side of this towns unique story. I cannot wait to see what Lena has in store for us when we dive into the King's side. 15/5 stars! Do not miss out on any of the Sullivan's, but definitely don't miss this one. You'll want to two-step with this man all night!

Perfect way to end the series!!

𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 is the fourth book in the Sullivan Family series by Lena Hendrix, featuring the riveting conclusion I’ve been waiting for… Duke Sullivan’s story and some answers!! I was swept away by Duke and Sylvie’s secret friendship that led to one hot night that changed their lives forever. Can a baby bridge the gap in a decades old feud between rival families, or will things deteriorate even more? I loved the connection between Duke and Sylvie and the bond they built despite the rift between their families. Duke quickly became one of my favorite leading men with the way he melted for Sylvie, while being a gruff farmer with everyone else. He was so loving and all-in!! Total swoon!!😍 The suspense aspect in this book continues to hit the mark, as we finally get some answers to our burning questions about what started the King-Sullivan feud in the first place! The fabulous characters of Outtatowner come together once again to bring plenty of extra drama and entertainment you don’t want to miss!!

I listened to the audio version narrated by Savannah Peachwood and Sebastian York, who did a terrific job of bringing Duke and Sylvie to life as well juggling all the other characters in the small town world. They pulled off they angst and emotion of the forbidden romance and the drama of the family rivalry with ease. They are definitely two of my favorite narrators!! You don’t want to miss the conclusion to this series, and audio is the way to go!!

Great listen

This is the fourth book in Sullivan
family. And I have enjoyed every book but this one. This one really tagged at my heart. Definitely had family struggles in some very sadness. With a little laughter sprinkled throughout the book. So I would say this book was absolutely great Listen. The narrators are the best at what they do. Savannah always brings her character to life and Sebastian I don't know what it is about this narrator but whatever he does it feeds my soul when he reads a book.

Duke and Sylvie are EVERYTHING!

“𝑰 𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒆𝒍𝒔𝒆, 𝒊𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝒄𝒊𝒓𝒄𝒖𝒎𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆, 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒎𝒚 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆. 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒂𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒕 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝒂 𝒎𝒂𝒏 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒎𝒆. 𝑰 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒆.”

This book had one of my all time favorite tropes so it was a no brainer that I’d be devouring it as soon as possible. Boy, was it a delightful consumption! A for sure favorite of the year!

“𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒅𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒊𝒇 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒘𝒆 𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒆𝒏𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒕𝒐 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒊𝒕.”

Duke and Sylvie’s story is one that I knew was going to stay with me for a while long after I finished reading it. I love a good small town rivalry! The banter, secret relationship, cute nicknames, the forbiddenness, when I tell you I was hooked and could not put this book down.
There was undeniable chemistry between Duke and Sylvie. They wanted to fight it with every thing in them but found it impossible. One night left them with an unexpected lifelong souvenir. The way Duke’s possessiveness straight up took over when he found out about the pregnancy was haaaaawt and from that moment, it never left the building. He was so swoony with the way he just wanted to be there for Sylvie and his baby. I loved the way they both just owned it and was like forget everybody else and let’s focus on us and the baby. I enjoyed watching as these two navigated their families’ rivalry, the pregnancy and their romantic relationship. Their journey to hea was the furthest thing from easy but their love made it worth the fight. I seriously loved every single second of this book. I don’t know if both families’ stories exist but I do know I want to go devour both because I’m looking forward to having my heart doubly stolen.

“𝑶𝒏𝒆 𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒅 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒅 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒂 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒊𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒔.”

Sebastian York and Savannah Peachwood on the audio means it was an absolute slay! The perfect Duke and Sylvie…their performance was incredible and complemented the story fabulously.
