Publisher's summary

“Linden touches every emotion.” (Julia Quinn)

With One Night in London, the sensational Caroline Linden kicks off a wonderful new historical romance series about three brothers trying to protect their good names and their fortunes while finding true love. Fans of Elizabeth Boyle and Liz Carlyle will not be able to resist this tantalizing tale that has the middle son of a recently deceased English duke hoping to avoid scandal and ruin as he searches for the young wife his late father never divorced…and encounters instead a desperate beauty who needs his help to rescue an endangered child.

Caroline Linden is a master of romantic adventure - as the RITA Award-nominated author has already proven with You Only Love Once, For Your Arms Only, and A View to a Kiss - and her ever-growing legion of fans will never forget this thrilling and sensuous One Night in London.

Wonderful story!

Wonderful story. One of the best I've read/listened to in a while. Love this author! Just enough depth along with the spicy romance. Only do your self a favor and do not purchase the audio version, just read the book instead. The narrator should not be narrating.

An Outstanding Series

This is one series that I really wish had a couple more novels in the series. The narrator is the main reason I selected this series. I enjoy listening to him. His voice is a bit older for the characters narrated but I rather this narrator than so many others. I won't repeat what's stated in the publisher's summary. The three brother's investigation into the dilemma of their father's marriage to to a woman before he married their mother is interesting, and the meeting of their eventual brides is very entertaining. I haven't listened to the 4th book - yet. But I'm sure I will since I buy novels for entertainment and look for those narrated by the narrators that I like! HIGHLY Recommend this series.

I enjoyed this one.

I’m glad I ignored some of the bad reviews. I like this one a lot. I thought the narrator was good, and the story was different. I’ll look for more books from this author.

Wow

Wow, Georgina the little girl is such a ridiculous, silly little twit. These ppl kidnap her away , keep her from her only loving blood relation, and then she has the audacity to call her step mom “mom” in front of her maternal aunt and refuse to live with her????? No. Absurd. Disappointing. Ridiculous. Her only living family who wants her , loves her and will care for her and this girl refuses bc of the manipulation of her step mom and step uncle who aren’t even related to her.

Good historical romance

First time listening to Caroline Linden book and enjoyed very much. The characters were all well developed with the mix of historical settings, intrigue and steamy romance. The narrator was very good with both male and female voices. I’m looking forward to the second book in the series.

Beware!!

Gildart Jackson is an excellent narrator BUT NOT FOR ROMANCE BOOKS OR WOMEN’S VOICES!! He reminds me of Snidley Wiplash in the old Canadian Mounty cartoons and his women’s voices are cringe worthy…sorry Mr. Jackson but this is not said with malice. Read the books, they are pretty good. Yes, I listened to all of them and was very thankful when they were finished.

Terrible Narration!

Men cannot do women’s voices! I would not have listened to story but I had already bought the series! Expensive lesson I learned.

Narrator is awful

Story could have been more enjoyable if the narrator wasn’t half asleep. Like listening to a boring lecture.
