Big potential that was not used

The narrative part of the book is of a very low quality, with weird pauses in sentences and overall spoken accent which is influencing user’s experience. There is a summary after chapters that are very repetitive of what has been already said, so is the last chapter. It is a good try and Oprah’s story makes it still interesting but in my opinion, the concept and Oprah’s life itself would deserve more thought.

Enjoyed the storyline

Thank you for this! My feedback would be that I wish the life lessons section was longer and more elaborate (including stories of their life struggle) and that it included summary of their daily routine so that others can understand what a successful and influential persons daily routine looks like and learn more that. Thank you 🙏

Very good book, very poor performance

When listening to audible, a person needs to enjoy the experience. Reading a book is not the same as listening to the book. The information is the same but the presentation is auditory. The presentation was very poor because the voice was annoying. Her voice was monotone. It was hard to enjoy the Audible because the voice is hard to listen to.
I would use a different reader with a soothing voice that fluctuates. I would re-record the same book.. Then I would give it 5 stars.

The narrator is very bad, i can detect her tone in every sentence - monotone.

Don’t like Narrator

The voice of the narrator hurt my ears and couldn’t get past the first few chapters. That’s unfortunate because it was interesting to learn about Oprah’s life. I would not recommend this book.

Zero stars

Terrible narration of repeating information.
NOT what you think - just a random collection of unrelated info about Oprah
