About this listen

He needs tutoring in statistics...she needs tutoring in the bedroom....

Hotshot hockey star Patrick Graham has been groomed for the pros since before he could walk. Fast forward to his junior year of college, and he’s having the time of his life. What could be better than pucks, partying, and having his pick of campus women? But if Patrick doesn’t buckle down and get his grades up, he could find himself benched for the championships. Could a beautiful brainiac be the solution to his problems?

Nineteen-year-old master’s student Ellie McGinn could do so many things with her biology degree, but her mother is pushing her toward a future she doesn't want. Tutoring a hockey hottie seems like the perfect opportunity to start making her own choices and living life on her own terms.

When learning turns to yearning, will they be ready to face the heat and heartache that love can bring?

Wow !!! Loved it ...

So I wasn’t to pleased with the previous book about Patrick’s twin Paxton. What that book dropped this book picked up and ran with to an cheering finish. Just wow. Where Naomi was immature and irritating Eli was wonderfully and beautifully fresh and naive but not impulsive or immature. It was nice to see Patrick in a new more flattering light rather than the egomaniac with ladies hanging from his arms in the previous books. The way he looked at and treated Eli was perfect. He was gentle and patient he was understanding and reverent. Both Patrick and Eli went through a dramatic change in perception and expectation. Eli didn’t string Patrick about or mess with his emotions like Naomi did to Paxton and Eli had some very serious things to consider and some very impactful things happen to her. Paxton as well was under a fair bit of pressure. I was so invested that the last 3 hours of listening time caused me some tears and then much joy. I’ve never read Mizera before but you bet your butt I’m gonna go get more of her stuff. This is why I read romance !!! Not to be forgotten Mitchell and Samuels did an awesome decorating Mizera’s words with their wonderful voices. Great book that’s put me back in the mood to continue this series !!

Yes - it’s worth a credit!

Overtime (Book #6) is an easy listen with good narration that presses all of the emotional buttons that leave you feeling fulfilled.

I skipped the previous story (#5: Gametime) about the other twin brother (Paxton and Naomi) due to a few reviews. but now I think I’ll go back. Their interactions w/ Patrick and Ellie make me want to know their story, too.

Great story

This story was so fun to listen to. The H/h both had such great character development, as they had to grow emotionally, mentally and even physically. It was an interesting roller coaster and not just the cookie cutter miscommunication trope leading to a break-up/make-up. It was fun to watch them grow and love. Both narrators were awesome

Loved it!!!

Kay Mizera is a new author for me. I loved her story for Overtime! It fit in so well with what we love about Sarina’s books!! These characters were so perfect for each other. With him being the captain of the hockey team and her being a gifted student who’s young and inexperienced. They’ve both overcome major pressures from family and realize they have a lot in common. She helps him with school and he helps her with living more. They soon become all about each other. However, he has the option to go play for the NHL and many obstacles come into play and make things hard for them. They keep many things to themselves, when they should share with each other. Loved the narration by Maxine and Lee.

Narrators hit and Miss

I enjoyed this audiobook but I got very confused sometimes when the male narrator went from a girls voice to his bothers and it was in the same tone. The female narrator was great and I thought the two went well together, even with some confusion thrown in.

As for the book there were a lot of good things about this storyline, but a few things I thought were drawn out longer than they should have been, but overall it was an enjoyable listen.
