About this listen

Given the way love turned her heart in the New York Times best-selling To All The Boys I've Loved Before, which School Library Journal called a "lovely, lighthearted romance", it's no surprise that Laura Jean still has letters to write.

Lara Jean didn't expect to really fall for Peter. She and Peter were just pretending. Except suddenly they weren't. Now Lara Jean is more confused than ever. When another boy from her past returns to her life, Lara Jean's feelings for him return too. Can a girl be in love with two boys at once?

In this charming and heartfelt sequel to the New York Times best seller To All the Boys I've Loved Before, we see first love through the eyes of the unforgettable Lara Jean. Love is never easy, but maybe that's part of what makes it so amazing.

Can’t wait for the next book but I am sad it is the last book she should do one in Peter’s perspective

The classic love story that pulls your heart in multiple directions. I love it and it was actually better than the first book.

I am so happy the author gave us more Lara Jean and Peter. This book was a great second addition to their story. Getting to see the ups and downs of what a first love relationship is really is sweet.

OH, the teenage dramalama, ha usually I hate that kind of stuff but I really enjoyed this book, maybe because it didn’t feel like the author was making problems just to make problems it seemed like something that would happen.

Again the narration was perfect for this story, not too old and not too young.

This was a bittersweet listen for me personally. I really enjoy the stages of life and love Lara Jean goes through and I find them uncomfortably relatable. The writing is peak cringey teen but in a way that reminds me of teenage me who I just want to stuff in a closet out of embarrassment. It's cathartic to listen to Lara Jean go through the cringe and come out okay on the other side.
There wasn't anything ground breaking or shocking (which I wasn't looking for anyway) but the story telling is enjoyable and endearing. I also enjoyed Ali Ahn's performance. She brought a lot of sincerity and warmth to Lara Jean I don't know I would have felt if I'd just read this on my own.

If you live for cringe

For sure read the first book first, i felt the first was a better story personally. This book is super cute though and a nice chance to be with the characters again.

Super cute

I think because the first was so strong, it was hard for this to measure equally. The concept of the first was unique to me, whereas this second installment’s “drama” at times feels more contrived. But I think the ending does make up for it because it does explain the characters’ actions and the complexities of life and love. Not as entertaining as the first but still overall satisfying when you reach the end.

Not as strong as the first but still kept my interest
