New narrator to the series. Problem within the first 15 minutes. Most of the time, the narrator is too quiet. Then, all of a sudden it'd get so loud that I have to turn my volume down, and then 2 sentences later I can't hear him anymore! Nothing wrong with the tone or any of the reading, it's just really hard to listen to when you are kept on your toes and have to frequently adjust the volume!

Volume gets overly loud from really quiet

Everyone sounded different which took my son a bit to get past, but it was the same mischevious bear that tumbles into trouble without meaning to. Still well worth the listen!

Same Paddington, different narrator.

Please, I love Paddington but please change the voices back. Paddington sounds like an old man. And all the browns sound weird.

Unfortunately, this is one of those books where the narrator's voice gets quiet, but then when switching characters gets loud. it makes it really difficult to listen to.

volume levels are a problem

We usually listen to Paddington in the car. Unlike the books narrated by Stephen Fry or Hugh Bonneville, this one was awful and we gave up a couple of chapters in. The narrator uses a soft voice for the narration and then a loud one for dialogue, which makes it impossible to listen to it on any one volume setting: either you miss the text or your eardrums get blasted with the speech. The choice of voice for Paddington is also distasteful. He sounds as if he is half asleep. It is unfortunate as the stories usually go over well with my little one.

Uneven volume makes for an uncomfortable listen

I loved all of the books in this series! Stephen Fry and Hugh Bonneville did a beautiful job at bring the characters to life. This guy butchered them, I'm so disappointed! His volume is inconsistent as well. He is super loud when quoting the characters then almoat at a mumbling silence. I either couldn't hear what he was saying or my hears were bleeding. It's like listening to nails down a chalkboard. Paddington deserves better! Please redo this with Stephen Fry or Hugh Bonneville, I'm begging you!!!

Voice is terrible!!
