Pandora’s Daughter

I was disappointed with the narration. The story line was weak. It took patience to complete listening to it.

Love the story but not so much the performance

I read this book years ago and loved the story. I should have stuck to reading it because the performance of the reader was like warm and distracting with the sound affects (phone calls and flashbacks with the echo tunnel effect).

Enjoyable

I enjoyed this fantasy/romance. A little long. I didn't like the sound effects used to depict someone on the phone (tinny), but that's just a small irritation. The narrator is good, not great.

Weak story lots of possibilities left on the table

All kinds of possibilities with the storyline. None of them explored very well. Try to fix it by sex

Brilliant story

Iris Johansen is by far my favorite author! This story is brilliantly written to weave paranormal into the reluctant personalities of ordinary people. The story line will keep you wanting more and more!
Jennifer Van Dyke does a good job with the reading, giving characters their own voice and changing voice tones and inflections. Another great novel by Johansen!!

Very enjoyable

Characters were very likable, narration was okay, story was fast paced and very interesting. Good ending, nothing surprising or twisting, but satisfying. I always enjoy Iris Johansen, and this was no exception! Worth a listen!

just couldn't get into it but good narrator!

just couldn't get into it at all. and I love this genre and used to love this author. maybe it was just a miss for me. it won't stop me from buying other Iris Johanson books but if you're deciding between a few I'd put this at the bottom of the list.
the narrator was good though!!

Good story line - poor narration

The story was good. But the narration was overly dramatic and extremely annoying.
