About this listen

From USA Today bestselling author Rebecca Jenshak comes a standalone fake dating sports romance. This steamy, grumpy / sunshine football romance delivers a swoony and emotional happily ever after.

Brogan Six’s fan mail has been filling my mailbox for weeks. With every lipstick covered letter I receive, my irritation with him grows. And let’s not talk about the time I accidentally opened one of the packages to find someone had sent him their panties. Gross. When I come face-to-face with my new nemesis, I expect to give him a piece of my mind and we’ll go our separate ways. Me to an empty mailbox and him to sift through his panty collection. That is not what happens.

I don’t know if it was the booze, his clever wit, or if I was tricked (I’m sure I was tricked), but now I’m fake dating the Mavericks’ hot new rookie. And I might just be the next woman to lose her panties to Brogan Six. Playbook is a standalone fake dating, grumpy/sunshine sports romance with banter, found family, spice, and a guaranteed happily ever after.

Love the duet/dual POV

Such a well done audio performance. Loved both narrators and the story. I love how they didn’t have any silly miscommunication or an internal dialogue that just focused on their lust. It was genuine and fun to see their relationship grow. I love the email character and how she didn’t just fall into him. Get this book!

You’ve got mail!

It's bad enough to "inherit" a famous football player's PO Box, but it gets worse when you accidentally open a package to find ...used panties?! Gross! That's the situation London finds herself in and when, by sheer luck, she has a chance encounter with her nemesis at a bar, she lets him know exactly what she thinks of this unfortunate situation.
Brogan Six, an honorary Holland, is the Maverick's new rookie. From the kind of mail he's been receiving, we know he's developed a "reputation". So, when London goes off on him, he realizes things are to of control and he needs an image makeover. It's just his luck that London needs a boyfriend to save face at her sister's wedding festivities that sadly include her cheating ex. Enter Brogan... and pretty soon Logan is ready to hand him her panties herself.
I loved this one! Brogan is adorable in his reformed playboy/golden retriever ways and London is fun as his "I take no crap from you" nemesis and fake girlfriend. It's swoon worthy to see them go from "enemies" to each other's biggest supporters.
Plus, we get the Holland brothers again!
Narrated duet style by newcomer Juno Cooper and Jacob Morgan, this audiobook is a delight! Juno has a beautiful, sweet but raspy voice and her performance is brilliant. This girl is hitting the ground running and I expect great things from her in the future. Jacob was the perfect choice to voice the full of swagger but vulnerable Brogan. These two together are specially adorable (if you know you know). I can't wait to hear more from Juno and Jacob is always a treat!
Sports romance, found family, the Holland brothers, some not so fake dating... highly recommend!

Found Family and Found Love

Brogan is the “adopted” Holland sibling. Having a terrible home life, he moved in with the Hollands at 14. Now he’s a rookie NFL player and is living the dream. Girls, money and fame… with that he gets a lot of fan mail.

London’s dream job is to be a successful graphics designer. While she is doing this on the side, she’s also working for the local news, part of their graphics team. She’s also helping her sister plan her wedding. As the MOH, she finds out that her ex is going to be the BM.

London has a PO Box she uses for her personal graphic business and with that, she’s been getting a lot of mail that’s not hers. It’s for a “Brogan 6”. At a club with her roommate, she overhears some ladies talking about Brogan 6. This throws her off and the second she spots him, she tells him off. It was a great meet cute 😂. Brogan was instantly intrigued and he sends her snail mail 🐌💌 to apologize. Over time, they write back and forth, Brogan gives her tickets to a game.

Brogan asks her to meet up for a drink after a game so she does. When she arrives she sees women all over him and she’s not interested. Especially since she was cheated on by her ex. She also runs into her ex, and his new girlfriend. Brogan then plays it off like he’s her new boyfriend to her ex. This gets the ball rolling for a fake relationship. London needs to act like she’s moved on from her ex during the wedding and Brogan needs to show the media and his coach he’s serious and can be serious about settling down too.

I loved these two so much! The banter, the angst and even the conflicts between them were so fun! I absolutely loved their meet cute and what caused it. I also love how Brogan helped London realize she’s very talented and London helps Brogan feel real genuine love. Also, this book really is the perfect found family trope!

Bought it for Jacob Morgan - fell in love w/Brogan & London

This kept coming up in booktok and romance book lover circles as a need to listen but I kept putting it off. I finally decided to take the plunge but with Jacob Morgan narrating it I just HAD to.

When I tell you I fell in LOVE with this book and Brogan and London! 🥰

I have a very short comfort re-listen list and this is now definitely on it. Can I give more stars???

The worst female narrator

😵‍💫 the female narrator is so monotone and boring that I had to physically force myself to stay awake to listen when it was her chapters. It’s duet style so it helped a little to still hear Jacob’s voice when it’s not his chapter.

Sweet and Playful

I loved Brogan’s story! He was one I was excited to get to know more especially after Burnout! He’s a brother of the family, not by blood and he was a trouble maker. But he was so much more! He was sweet and compassionate! He and London more than deserved their HEA! The narrators were fantastic! Love me some Jacob Morgan!

Brogan & London's story was a sweet / sexy / cozy read. Broken is a rookie football player a d London is a sassy illustrator that are thrown together by a hilarious mailbox debacle.
The banter is funny and the steam is steamy!
I enjoyed the family feel of the story and the HEA.
Definitely a must read for the cozy feels!
