"In your dreams, Baby Hall."
Older. Hotter. And way out of my league. Hannah Prescott has been my obsession since the moment she uttered those five simple words.
She thinks she'll deter me by her dismissive attitude, but her words only spur me on. I love a challenge, and since Hannah is my literal dream girl, she's worth putting in a bit of work.
Up until now, everything in my life has come easily: hockey, women, friendships. Then Noah Harrison is traded to our team, and my spot on the first line with my best friends is at risk. Suddenly, Hannah is wearing his jersey, and I realize I've got to act fast or risk losing my shot forever.
Fortunately for me, dreams do come true, because though she only offers me one night, fate has other plans. She may have said she'll never call me Daddy Hall, but the positive pregnancy test in her hand makes that impossible.
With my every dream within reach, I need to find a way to prove to Hannah that she's the one for me and I'm so much more than a playboy.
Narrated in duet style.

The story
Hannah Prescott is older, hotter, and completely out of Ryder Hall’s league – or so she thinks. From the moment she shut him down with a simple “In your dreams, Baby Hall,” Ryder has been obsessed. As the team’s playboy, everything has come easy to him: hockey, women, fame. But when his spot on the first line is threatened and Hannah shows up wearing another player’s jersey, Ryder realizes he has to act fast. One night turns into something much bigger when a positive pregnancy test forces them both to face their feelings. Ryder might be a cocky, dirty-talking playboy, but he’s determined to prove to Hannah that he’s so much more than that – and that she’s his dream come true.
What I liked
✔️ Older FMC with a reverse age gap – refreshing to see the woman being older for once.
✔️ Hannah isn’t afraid to speak her mind but still has a soft, vulnerable side.
✔️ Loved that she was the dirty-mouthed one for a change instead of the MMC.
✔️ Great banter and sass between Hannah and Ryder.
✔️ The ever-growing found family of the Bolts adds heart and humor, with returning characters making every scene richer – and yes, Beckett shows up too.
🔻 What didn’t work for me
This was my least favorite of the Bolts books so far. The story was fine but didn’t grab me as much as the earlier ones in the series.
🎧 Narration
Solid performances by the narrators, adding energy and depth to both characters.
Tropes
✔️ Reverse age gap (older FMC)
✔️ Sports romance (hockey)
✔️ Playboy MMC falls first and hard
✔️ Accidental pregnancy
✔️ Found family / team dynamics
✔️ Dirty-talking FMC
Final thoughts
While Playboy didn’t reach the top of my Bolts rankings, it was still a spicy, entertaining, and easy listen with a confident FMC and Ryder’s sweet determination. If you enjoy sports romance with banter, dirty talk, and a tight-knit found family, this series continues to deliver. I’m excited to see what Brittanee Nicole has planned next for these hockey boys.

Duet narration
Such a fantastic fun book.
Baby Hall (Daniel Hall) is always saying the wrong thing and it is hilarious. The things him and his team mates get up to are entertaining to say the least.
Hannah our FMC is a badass. I loved her sass and the banter with these two characters.
Sweet, funny, swoony hockey romance.
