About this listen
This book tells the story of Bart and his friends as they go on a hike and learn about fire safety in a way they did not expect. Bart is very careless when dealing with matches and he does not want to listen to his friends' warning. They tell him how easily a fire can get started in a forest and the harm it can do to the animals and trees. But Bart does not care too much for what they are saying about fire safety. So he goes off by himself and starts a fire to cook something to eat. He forgets to put out the fire and leaves it burning, only to wake up and find himself trapped in the midst of a forest fire.
What happens to him and his friend caught in the fire makes for an interesting story, especially to see how Bart learns his lesson about fire safety the hard way.
If you and your child love to listen to audiobooks together, then you are going to love this! This book is perfect for bringing up the subject of fire safety with your little ones.

The kingdom of Cornucopia was once the happiest in the world. It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

Fire....
This book is excellent! The lessons are very enjoyable. The book is a fabulous way to motivate anyone about fire safety. This book encourages children to determine what can happen if they begin a fire and it goes out of control. It also appears with a movement book that has play coloring pages and other activities.

Don't play with fire
Don't ever play with fire or anything that would create one such as a match. This is a useful audio that must be trained by parents at an early age and strengthened throughout the early years of the kids. I would suggest at least till age 10 that it requires repeating.

Children will find the story fascinating.
Any additional comments?
I use this book during the first few days of school so the children will know what to expect and won't be frightened . It is very simple, but effective and I can incorporate a lesson around it. Very helpful.
