A well written story with excellent characters!

The characters in The Colony Ship Warren series are constantly evolving and continue to develop themselves and as a group. John Thornton does a great job with his character development and it shows in this book. It is fun watching them grow and change. I look forward to book 7! Audio Version: Katrina Medina did a great job with the narration. The characters are well defined and I enjoy her take on each of them.

Another Warren story

There are several different storylines in this world. Each following a different colony ship. The adventures are all different and interesting but neither the writing nor the narration are exceptional. A good series to pass the time.

Best one so far.

I have been a big fan of Thorntons. In this book some major problems from the other books are resolved but new problems have arisen that may be worse.. The characters are enjoyable. Also in this book we begin to see the author weave together themes from the other colony ship books

Predators on the Warren

What I found most engaging about this book is the complex group of characters throughout. I really enjoyed learning about their relationships to each other, as well as seeing the events in the book through such disparate points of view. The plot flowed smoothly and was helped along by the narrator’s performance. They did very well at portraying the characters, particularly when giving different voices to all of the different AIs. The enticing hook at the end of the story left me looking forward to the next installment.
