About this listen

I should force myself to forget both of them exist, not crave for them to find me again.

Yet as soon as my plane touches down in St. Augustine three days before the start of the spring semester, my sweetest nightmares are waiting for me, reminding me of all of the reasons I can't stop thinking about why I let myself fall prey to their affections in the first place..

I've convinced myself that I need to end this before I'm the one with a knife in my stomach; that Oliver and Rook are the worst kind of people and certainly not capable of love.

Until the unthinkable happens, leaving me broken, devastated, and questioning all of my recent choices. Suddenly I can't tell what's right or wrong anymore, and their darkness beckons to all of my broken edges, promising me something I can't find outside of their embrace.

Once I give into the wickedness they offer, I'll never be able to go back to who I was.

And that's exactly what they want.

Pretty Little Killer is the second book of the Pretty Obsessions trilogy. Intended for mature listeners.

The intensity of each scene was much greater than other books I've read. I really enjoying this series.

A new story line.

Warning, the story realy is for mature audience not just because of the sexy scenes but especilly because of darker and moraly questionable caracters. I liked it. It is new, exciting. It is a suspense. What will happen next?

Warning

The story line to raw and gritty. The characters of crazy yet lovable. I stayed up all night to finish this book. Totally worth it.

So good.

Enjoyable listen with an interesting plot. Unfortunately after finishing book two I did notice multiple (minor but still) plot holes. Also I actually thought this book could have had a few more sex scenes. There are a decent amount of steamy scenes but a bunch of times throughout the book it would seem like the perfect time and place for a scene then - nothing. Whatever was happening woukd just cut off then it’s the next day at school or she’s home doing laundry or something. The narration was very well done and I would recommend this book and say it’s worth a credit. It’s to bad you never get to hear from the guys point of view . One of the things that really stood out to me was the girl mentions (more than once, and the guys bring it up again a couple of times) her kinks/ fantasies. She very clearly states that her ultimate dark forbidden fantasy is CNC ( consensual non consent)…and they NEVER do it! Like seriously wtf?! Besides that there were some things that seemed weirdly left out- one of the guys is all beat up and hints at who hurt him then it’s just never spoken of again…
This series could have been amazing with some more details, a few plot tweaks , and some editing. Despite all that it’s still very entertaining and definitely worth a credit . Just don’t get held up on the little inaccuracies. If you can just go with it and not poke holes - this series could be a go to favorite

Edit: I remember feeling like a bunch of stuff was just done and unanswered. Book ended weirdly for a series. Well that's because there's another book! I had no idea at the time of my review. So now I recommend even more! I'm relistening to the first two in preparation for book 3! So that should tell you the series is at least good enough for a second go. Def getting credits worth!

Decent series

Spicier and deadlier too! Loved the glimpse of Rook and Oliver's background we get (finally), which really helps with connecting with their characters, I still want more - I feel like Rook especially has to have a lot more going on behind all that control - he's just so methodical. Excited to see where we go from here. Starting book 3 immediately ❤️🔥👌

Better than the first!

It was predictable and not worth my credit. The first book was just as drug out as the second… the plot and characters could have been better. Reads like a tv show. Just missing the background noise. And not in a good way.

Not a “wow’er”
