Publisher's summary
After Shaun Attwood arrived in the Arizona Department of Corrections, his challenges multiplied. His cellmate threatened to cave in Shaun’s skull with a padlock in a sock. A naked neighbour dragged him into a cell for sex. Before a visit with his parents, he was attacked by a drug-crazed biker.
Forced to adapt or perish, Shaun made alliances with powerful prisoners, including T-Bone a massive ex-Marine who risked his life saving inmates from rape, and Two Tonys, an old-school Mafia murderer who left the corpses of his rivals from Tucson to Alaska. They showed Shaun how to transcend incarceration and to learn from his mistakes.

Rene "Boxer" Enriquez grew up on the violent streets of East L.A., where gang fights, robberies, and drive-by shootings were fueled by rage, drugs, and alcohol. When he finally landed in prison - at the age of 19 - Enriquez found an organization that brought him the respect he always wanted: the near-mythic and widely feared Mexican Mafia, La Eme. What the organization saw in Enriquez was a young man who knew no fear and would kill anyone - justifiably or not - in the blink of an eye.

One tells the story of your life as it is, along with another book for the other life you could have lived if you had made a different choice at any point in your life. While we all wonder how our lives might have been, what if you had the chance to go to the library and see for yourself? Would any of these other lives truly be better? In The Midnight Library, Nora Seed finds herself faced with this decision.

Very intriguing and a good book just like the others
This was a very in depth look at the American prison system. This was overall a very fantastic book however like others have said in the reviews I wish that the narrator was the same as the one who read hard time.

This Book is Amazing
Shaun’s journey through the Arizona prison system is filled with terrifying, inspiring, and even humorous events. This is a great read for anyone looking for perspective in life. I also appreciate that the book is narrated by English Shaun himself, it provides an intimate quality to such a personal story.

Horrific Narration, Excellent Content
The writing and story very compelling and raw. If I hadn’t been so entranced in Shaun Atwood’s tale, I would have stopped listening as the narration is absolutely horrendous. But overall good book. Won’t relisten like I do other books because I’m out of ibuprofen to get through the sound of the narrators voice.

incredible story terrible narration
Please go back to the narrator in "Hard Time" Authors should never narrate their own books, if the story was not so good i would have stopped listening, almost unbearable.

Great narrative of prison life
Unlike some other reviews I did not find the narrator- the author himself - very bad at all. Good story and overall very much liked the book

The Wolves are calling you to read this!
A must read! #3 in Shaun Attwood Trilogy. Shaun describes his experiences so vividly that you feel you are right there with him. Originally I was only planning on reading Party Time but I have not been able to stop listening since I first started Party Time a week ago! Prison Time will keep you hanging on every word!

ok, Shaun...Gadfly won't work without help!
I'll always support your efforts, and it's apparent your narration bombed BUT YOU AT LEAST TRIED!! Great stories, just need avid audio book consumers as small focus groups for feedback on submissions or new things you're trying out. good luck and I'll be heading to the journal...FYI, Osama didn't stop me from buying your first book. glad to reconnect!
