In Rhapsody a fellowship was forged - three companions who, through great adversity, became a force to be reckoned with: Rhapsody, a singer of great talent and even greater beauty; Achmed, an assassin with unearthly talents; and Grunthor, a giant sergeant-major whose jolly disposition stands at odds with his deadly skill at weapons. Having fled the F'dor - an ancient, powerful evil - the three emerged on the other side of the world only to discover 14 centuries had passed. Their homeland had been destroyed, their people scattered across several continents, and everyone they ever knew had long since passed away...except perhaps the F'dor.
Prophecy continues this powerful epic. Driven by a prophetic vision, Rhapsody races to rescue the religious leader of her new homeland while Achmed and Grunthor seek evidence of the F'dor. These three may be their world's only hope, the heroes spoken of in the Prophecy of the Three, but their time is running short. They must find their elusive enemy before his darkness consumes them all.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I liked this series so much that I bought it on audible even though I own the entire series in paperback.Any additional comments?
There is an error in the recording at Chapter 45 of 58, 4 minutes and 17 seconds into that chapter the recording skipping a scene. It goes from Rhapsody and Jo talking in Jo's room in the Cauldron to Jo slapping Ash then immediately continues with the correct section of the book. "...and threw Rhapsody a packet of sulfured grapes. His head snapped back up and she glared up into the hood again this time catching a glimpse of blue eyes opened in shock by her blow. Maybe she's just growing up..." The part "His head snapped... eyes opened in shock by her blow" should read "Rhapsody watched Jo pop a few into her mouth, noting she had avoided all of the sweeter confections she normally gobbled down". I do not think anyone would notice this error that hasn't read the book. With that said I love this series and would recommend it to anyone.A wonderful book but there is an error in the reco

well read

It is not that he is entirely terrible. Indeed, some of his voices are great (e.g., Achmed, Gruntor, angry Ash, etc.). The problem is his voicing of Rhapsody throughout the series. His voice for Rhapsody is something both airy and effeminate, the combination of which just begins to grate on me after a while for two reasons. First, the majority of the story is from Rhapsody's perspective. Second, Rhapsody is a character with a musically driven, flowery dialogue style. Because of these voice and dialogue features, there were multiple occasions where I literally shouted out loud to the narrator, "Get on with it!" I have a feeling that I would enjoy him as a reader in another series, but I definitely do not enjoy him as the reader in this one. After 60 hours of hearing him read, I am seriously considering returning the third book so I can be done with the series.
A great story ruined by an annoying narrator
