About this listen

Lily LeBlanc isn't versed in the art of casual sex, but after seven years in an on-again, off-again relationship, she's definitely willing to give it a shot. And who better to try it with than her best friend's boyfriend's best friend? What could possibly go wrong?

NHL player Randy Ballistic lives up to his last name on the ice and in the bedroom. His best friend and teammate has recently given up the puck bunnies and traded them in for a real girlfriend. And she just happens to have a seriously feisty, extra-hot best friend on the rebound. Randy's more than happy to be Lily's springboard back into the dating scene. But casual sex is only casual until those pesky things called emotions get involved. Once that happens, someone's bound to get pucked over.

Fantastic continuation

Third book in the series (on Audible, I think in the book series there is a .5 in there somewhere) and it follows Randy and Lilly. Randy is a hockey player who doesn't want to turn out like his dead beat dad and Lilly is an ice skater who wasn't able to live her dreams because of her own dead beat dad.

Both battle the situation differently and go into a casual relationship for different reasons but end up finally in the same place.

I love Lilly, she is so sarcastic but then explains the sarcasm like she is so clever, no one else would understand. Cracked me up.

Randy is so super serious but the tatts and the beard and the highly sensitive personality won me over.

I loved that we got visits with the other Pucked characters and I sooooo want a Lance book. Like yesterday with that accent.

Rose Dioro and Jacob Morgan were great narrators! Rose was perfect with her Canadian accent and Jacob had the tortured soul angst down pact.

Randy BALLISTIC

What did you love best about Pucked Over?

Umm...can I say everything and it be real? Let's be honest here: I am a Randy Ballistic fan. I have the t-shirts and the tote bags and the keychains. I #GoBALLiStic anytime this series is mentioned. Seriously, this is THE book of the series. Alex and Miller can back up, Randy is in town.

What other book might you compare Pucked Over to and why?

I can actually mix it up and say The Score by Elle Kennedy. I don't know what it is about the third book in a series, but these authors know exactly how to make that 3rd guy stand out. Randy is the man though!

Which character – as performed by Rose Dioro and Jacob Morgan – was your favorite?

Jacob Morgan because he's awesomesauce. Plus, he's playing my book boyfriend, Randy Ballistic. So, that goes without saying. Rose does an amazing job of performing the role of Lily though.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I read it in one sitting so I would have loved to have been able to listen to it in one sitting.

Good not great.

I’ve listened to quite a few of Helena hunting books as of late and I’ve really enjoyed them. But while this one was a great story the narrator made the female characters sound like complete ditz’s. I was bummed because previous titles the female characters were fun but strong. This one the narrator ruined it for me.

Puck Me Out Tonight

Randy and Lily are skating into hearts and minds. Lily has been doing what she can to keep it all together. She works herself silly and tries to forget that her dreams of Olympic stardom were so unjustly taken from her. After finally ending it with waste that was Benji she grants herself a little respite with Randy Ballistic. With his rugged hockey toned bod and hot as sin tattoos and bread he seems to be haunting her even after their one night of fun. Randy cannot figure out why after some 3rd base time with luscious Lily he can't get her out of his head. He should have moved on to any number of the bunnies at his disposal, but they hold no appeal. When he gets this goddess in his mitts again he doesn't plan on letting her get away this time. While he has every intention of pursuing Lily he has his boundaries in place to keep them both from getting hurt. But rules were meant to be broken.

Narration- I LOVE Jacob Morgan and he was a fantastic Randy!!! Rose was delightful as Lily. Get ready to get Pucked

Rebound sometimes equals forever

I absolutely loved Randy and Lilly's story. even though it started off like some forms of friends with benefits, their chemistry was definately explosive. just like the other books in the series, each character seems to carry their own set of skeletons and secretes. All is revealed in order to find their HEA. These narrators are my favorite in the series. I love their voices for the characters.

Great

Lily is newly single Canadian and works as a skating instructor. Randy is the new member on Chicago's hockey them in america. They meet officially when her best friend's new boyfriend and her brother are both on the same hockey team as randy. Attraction Flys but strong willed Lily's plan is to stay away. But what happens when they decide to be friends with benefits? Can they keep the feelings at bay or will it get messy?

Great narration

Jacob Morgan doing that sex scenes was SO SEXY!

I find it's really important for the voices to be pleasant to listen to even if I adore the story as much as I adore this one. When I got to the first time Jacob Morgan was reading a sexual scene I was "engaged" fully with the narration. The girl was great, though not as fun as book 1's female narrator, but Jacob Morgan has just knocked Sebastian York to my 2nd favorite male narrator. Fantastic!

hmm

Lilly and Randy are so sweet together. I hate how airheaded violet seems in this one and the last book. both of the narrators kinda grated on my nerves from the long pauses to the mispronounced words. but overall it was pretty good.
