Worth the time

The writing is a bit dated but the topic is good and Scott Brick is excellent as always.

Almost Modern

The writing style and even the content reads like it was just written within the last decade rather than nearly 4 decades ago. I enjoy his books as much as Clancy.

A beautifully woven tale!

Cussler is an outstanding author, and this is evidence of his skill. I’m a retired long haul trucker who has enjoyed many miles in the company of the likes of Dirk Pitt, Al Giordino, and Admiral Sandecker, and am glad for every mile that I ran!

One of the best page turners I came across

Story was thrilling, narration was best and so many twists. I never felt bored when listening to this and too bad not available in India

Amazing story

The Titanic is such a sad tale and will always bring out curiosity to the world about its fate. It has been interesting to be listening to this fiction while in the real world for the last 5 days there has been a submersible fighting to save itself from the Titanic’s same fate when it was trying to tour the Titanic wreck. I think the Titanic will always be an allure to others but we must learn from its failures. We must never put ego over lives and be willing to learn from the history of successes and failures of this world. This story was very good at teaching this lesson and bringing us back to the history of the Titanic on what it must have been truly like.

Following Thru

I have read some of the Dirk Pitt books our of sequence. Lately I have begun to re read them starting with book 1. After finishing this book it is satisfying to be able to follow thru with some of the facts and details that begun in book 1. I am looking forward to the continuation of the books in order of the series.

Raise the titanic

Even though I read the book years ago in Hard cover, the audio presentation brought back great memories from my younger days. The original book is still on my shelf, and thanks to a very dear friend, it was autographed by Clive Cussler. A treasured classic that only gets better with the passage of time.

Unexpectedly Awesome

Knowing the story of the Titanic’s sinking and current condition and whereabouts, I was intrigued to see how Clive Cussler would weave this story.
Maintaining his genius for sucking his audience into a story of seemingly unrelated events. Not to worry, he creates a story that falsely makes the reader feel he has thoroughly wrapped up yet another enthralling adventure, only to be jolted by even more fantastical twists.
I do hasten to caution the reader to avoid this book if you are addicted to run-of-the-mill, boring, and totally predictable books. HOWEVER… if you are one of those people whose blood actually still actively flows - I hope you immerse yourself in this great read.
