In Retirement Reinvention, America's most trusted career coach shatters the myths that retirement is the end of work, that it is a time of decline, that new career opportunities are for young people alone, and that people work during their retirement only because they need money.

In this helpful new career-focused guide, Robin Ryan offers practical advice for the next act of your life and career. Robin Ryan has been helping clients land their dream jobs for over 20 years. “Robin Ryan has dedicated her career to thinking and writing about effective solutions to career challenges, and it shows in all of her books. Best retirement book I’ve found!

This book contains endless ideas and resources for things to consider doing in retirement. Real life examples of what others have done during their retirement is extremely helpful. It really shows the possibilities are endless and has made me excited for my retirement. Everyone should read this!

Annoyingly Redundant

Although it liked the ideas and stories of retirees, I could not complete because the author continually repeated the same concepts and explanations.

Redundant and unhelpful

It makes its one valuable point ("stay active and involved") very early on-- then repeats it over and over. One would expect the author to know her material well enough to make it interesting, but whatever the author's other skills, she's not a natural reader.

Simplistic

While the content is important and the author seems to want to impart it thoughtfully, the language is written for children and approaches condescension at times. Essentially, this is 30 minutes of information packed into an 8 hour audio book.
